Spokane Engagement Photographer: Brady & Neale's Incredible Lake Engagement

They met in the lab. Brady had the only source of de-ionized water, and Neale and her friend needed some. They were also bored, so they went over there, and started to talk. Brady’s first impression was that Neale was beautiful, kind, and fun to talk to, but he only thought of her has a friend. Neale also found Brady cute, but also funny. They would talk for an hour or so (with their mutual friend as well) then move on.

Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photos: Jeremiah and Kendra's Downtown CDA Engagement

Jeremiah and Kendra worked together. That's not how they met, but they worked together. In fact - and this is a little bit of a side note - they talk so little at work even now that it took some of their coworkers months to realize they even knew each other. But that isn't relevant here. What does matter, is that after work one day Jeremiah and Kendra met up with some friends from work to get some drinks. This is how they met.

Spokane Engagement Photographer: Nick & Kayla's Christmas Engagement

It all started when Kayla and her older sister Dani "left" (word on the street is they might have snuck out) the house one night to go to the park to meet some boys. They were in high school at the time. Nick was pulled along by his friend, and when they arrived they talked and hung out. I asked Nick what he thought when he first saw Kayla and it was something along the lines of "dang" but my memory is a little weak. Anyway, they talked, and eventually had to go back - so the boys (being the gentleman they are) decided to walk them back. It was here, Nick would give Kayla a kiss.

Spokane Engagement Photographer: Jeremy & Anna's downtown Spokane Engagement

Around 8 years ago we all had Facebook, Myspace was even a thing then, kind of, but this story starts somewhere else. There was also this smaller social network called My Yearbook. This is where Jeremy and Anna found each other. Jeremy broke the ice by asking Anna questions - not conversational questions as much as small, cleaver questions that would somehow show his interest, but also his depth. Very cleaver.

Portland Engagement Photos: Travis & Jenna's Engagement

Travis and Jenna met when Jenna was new to the area. They worked in the same place (different departments though) but that's actually not how they met. Rather, one of Jenna's friends was also friends with Travis. So when him and Travis were meeting up for some beers, he invited Jenna along, so she could meet some more people and get more comfortable in the area.

Spokane Engagement Photographer: Jacob & Melissa's Beautiful Fall Engagement

Jacob and Melissa are amazing people. They are kind and quick to laugh. Their story is becoming more and more of a common one, one i’m starting to hear all the time. Sometimes all it takes is a simple swipe, and a bold step, to change your life forever. And for these two, that was it. One of the things I remember sticking out to me the most about their story, about how they got to gather - how they knew the other was the one - was how they would laugh together. They so enjoy each other’s company, and they love just being with each other, which is just amazing. I loved spending our (super sunny) fall day together, capturing these two adventurous people over the rocks and valleys to create something amazing. I can’t wait for their wedding this next year!
