Every year I get a small rush of shoots as we get near Thanksgiving. People come into town, see friends and family, and get together. This year… is a little different. That said, some of this amazing family was able to make it into town all the way from New York. I absolutely loved getting to know them and learning more about what they love. I hope you love these family photos, and the little man that I think stole the show.
Read MoreThe Hoit family is one i’ve grown to know over the last couple of years. Not just the two amazing parents (Dave and Mel) but also their kids. I can honestly say i’ve enjoyed every conversation i’ve ever had with a Hoit, whether it was about Whiskey, God, or football, they are just really enjoyable people - as i’m sure you are aware. So when Mel asked me to get some photos of the for this holiday season, I was super pumped. It’s always great seeing a family together, and this one was no different. Here are some of my favorites.

Justin and Emily were two people that were going to get married this year, and now it’s next year. What this meant? Let’s do a family photo shoot instead! I was pumped to meet everyone on Emily’s side of the family and get to laugh with them again. I’m looking forward to the next time we see each other, as every time we are together, it has been a blast.
Read MoreI had the chance to meet the Newby family a couple years ago when I photographed Chelsea’s sister Lindsey and her amazing winter wedding. There is no doubt that Chelsea has a beautiful family, and while this shoot was short, it was certainly sweet. These guys are pretty awesome.
Read MoreThis family of four is pretty special. Their two beautiful little girls were so quick to smile, easy to laugh (especially when mom was around) and I had so much fun talking with Ben and Rajona. It was easy to tell they cared not just about their family, but it felt like they cared about what I had going on as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, and I would be hard pressed to find a better family. I hope you love these family photos!
Read MoreCorey and Katie are two people i’ve known for a long time. They are kind, quick to smile, super easy to get along with, and I find myself smiling every time I see them. I’ve known them before they had a family of their own, and after, but one thing is clear - these two are such great parents. They clearly love their kids, and capturing that energy and love was something I so very much enjoyed. I can’t wait to watch this family grow old together, go through triumphs and trails, be happy and sad, and watch these two young amazing parents work through it all together. Until then, here are some photos of them at this stage in life, and what an amazing stage it is.
