I only met this amazing family of four the morning we did their photos. They were kind, so easy to get along with, and had two amazing children - who got very cold (it was early morning, after all) That said, those children were incredible, when they smiled it was so full of joy, it made capturing it all so easy. That was followed a couple months later with their beautiful wedding on Coeur d’Alene lake at the Hagadone Event Center. So when I was contacted about 5 months after the wedding and told that Julie and Alex were expecting, I was pumped! It’s always so awesome to be a part of special moments in couples lives, and it’s an even larger honor to continue to be a part of those moments. Alex and Julie are going to be amazing parents, and I enjoyed exploring with them again.

Nothing can beat that amazing smile she has, or the love that is so evident from him when he looks at her. What a blessing they are, not just to each other, but to me and my family.
Read MoreLast year I had the chance to photograph Adam and Ashley’s beautiful backyard wedding. It was fun, unique and beautiful. So when Ashley contacted me to tell me they were pregnant and wanted maternity photos I was so pumped! I’ve always enjoyed talking with them, whether on the side of a mountain or at their wedding, we’ve had a great time. Ashley is absolutely gorgeous with her pregnant glow, and i’m so excited that these two are starting a family.

That said, some of this amazing family was able to make it into town all the way from New York. I absolutely loved getting to know them and learning more about what they love. Justin and Emily were two people that were going to get married this year, and now it’s next year. What this meant? Let’s do a family photo shoot instead! I was pumped to meet everyone on Emily’s side of the family and get to laugh with them again.
