I had the chance to meet all four of these amazing people (three siblings, 4 if you include Jake who married in) at Jake and Taylor’s wedding about a year and a half ago. Not only was their wedding beautiful, but they also had some amazing friends and family there. Since then I’ve always enjoyed their company, and so when Taylor reached out and asked me to take some photos of her and her siblings, I was excited. We couldn’t have gotten a better day too, and I love these warm tones we got for this family/sibling shoot. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Read MoreTo say that going down to Arizona to take photos of the Fischer family was fun would be an understatement. To say I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the people, the location, the weather, would also be an understatement. Jake and Laura (and Laura’s family, who I also got to meet on this trip) are some incredible people. They are kind, thoughtful, deep, funny, considerate and fun - if I name just a few of their best qualities.
Read MoreWe had a summer that extended well into fall. It felt like we had sun and 70 degree weather almost all the way to November. That said, it did end, and we ended up getting a bunch of rain (and now snow). Well, the Miller’s family photo shoot landed on a very rainy day. That said, we still had some absolutely beautiful fall colors, and some incredible views. These guys were ready for anything, and even though it was pouring on us I think what we got not only looks incredible, but also fairly dry! I absolutely loved meeting the Millers, and I am so excited that I get to share these photos of this amazing family.
Read MoreI had the chance to meet Kelsey at a wedding in Spokane earlier this year. While we didn’t get to talk too much, I was so excited when I got an email from her later saying she loved my style and wanted me to capture her and her beautiful boy. There’s something so awesome about capturing the smaller family units, as you get more time to get unique and candid photos. I hope you love these fall family photos!
Read MoreEvery time I interact with the Emery family it’s a blessing. I could go back to sophomore year of high school when Sarah was my prom date, or even further back to 8th grade when I worked with Josh at Senior Froggy (RIP CDA location). I could go back to the time I spent with Tyler at North Idaho College during lunch, or when Josh beat me (handily) in the CDA half marathon. Or even the chance I had about five years ago to photograph this entire (growing) family. In every instance, it has been a blessing, a joy, to talk with this fine group of people. They are kind, thoughtful, quick to laugh, and have easy smiles. I love talking with them, and it is an incredible honor that they have picked me again to photograph their family - the thing that is most valuable to us in our lives. I hope you love these!
Read MoreWhat is there to say about the Rhodes family aside from what you see on this blog? Two kind, thoughtful parents, with four children that are quick to laugh, even quicker with a goofy face, and all of whom seem incredibly happy. My time with them was a blast, between watching the siblings play, to watching their parents be totally willing to join in. Their family photo shoot was not only enjoyable for me, but I think that joy translated so well in these photos. I’ve been excited to share these with you, I hope you love them!
