Nathan and Whitney are two amazing people. People who I got to know a little bit more during their engagement shoot, but people who - in meeting their friends and family - continued to impress me. Not just with their energy and kindness, but also with their depth and generosity. These two light up the places they go to, they are kind and thoughtful, they are fun and quick to smile, and boy do they love each other. What an honor it was for me to capture these two on their wedding day. I hope you love the photos below, I certainly enjoyed taking them.
Read MoreAly and David asked me to come out to the Hills Resort on Priest Lake for their simple winter wedding late last month. It was beautiful. The day before we got a fresh six inches of snow that covered all the trees and ground, giving us a beautiful blanket of white snow. The couple themselves were so kind, and I loved meeting their families. I love these small, simple weddings that have become more and more common over the last year, and I hope I get the chance to do more of them. Less people, but more time to spend with those people. It was an amazing wedding with great people at a beautiful location.
Read MoreShane and Whitney are a pretty amazing couple. They planned a wedding during one of the hardest times in the last century, they found a way to love each other, to show love, and to be be loved by their closest friends when so many things seem to not go as planned. Their wedding day was truly beautiful, with such great friends and family at their wedding, and in such a beautiful location downtown Spokane, Shane and Whitney had a beautiful intimate ceremony. There were so many touching moments and beautiful moments, I would say not watching their photo story, not hearing those moments would do you a disservice. I loved being their on that day, but also being able to relieve it as I edited the photos.
Read MoreTyson and Chandler are two amazing people, something I learned early in 2020 when we had the chance to do their engagement photos. At the time, the idea that something like COVID would be a problem “all the way in December” seemed crazy. So the plan was on. A couple months later however, I got a call from Chandler, they were moving the wedding to 2021 - as so many brides decided to do. So we rescheduled, things moved, and it was going to be another year until I got to see these two wonderful people again.
Read MoreDustin and Kristina are two amazing people, with an amazing daughter. They came up here to get married in an amazing place, and I was so happy to help them find and be a part of that moment. Getting to be a part of a wedding that consisted of only four people is always something I love, and I think it’s so beautiful. I hope you love these photos of their beautiful ceremony as we move into one of the most wonderful times of the year.
Read MoreRyan and Elizabeth had an amazing wedding, from their beautiful ceremony in Post Falls to their incredible sunset out on the Palouse, their wedding was filled with so many great moments. I think of the worship in the church during their ceremony, the music - with all in attendance singing - was beautiful and mesmerizing. I think of their laughs as we walked through the fields together, or when I grabbed. a couple quick photos of them two with all their family watching. These two are amazing, kind, and quick to smile. I loved being there for their wedding - a wedding that had to be changed so much because of Covid. And now I get to share so many of those moments with you, I hope you love them.
