When I met Richard and Leslie for the first time it was so obvious how they felt about each other. Such energy, excitement, and love for each other. We shared some coffee, and talked about what they wanted. Leslie really wanted snow - something I obviously can’t promise. So when we got about 8 inches of snow the day before her elopement wedding I was pumped for her. And then, when we got the sunny weather to go with that snow (but the colder temps to keep that snow light and fluffy) it was even more amazing. These two had the day they had always wanted, and I’m so excited to say I was able to be there and capture their beautiful wedding on a ridge overlooking Hayden Lake, ID. Huge congratulations to them and I hope you love their photos!
Read MoreJared and Kat’s wedding will have a special place in my heart for years to come, I am sure. It was unique through and through, from the amazing costumes they both wore on their wedding day (Dr. Who and the Tardis), to the games they decided to play (from board games, card games, to trivia with their guests and even jeopardy), it was something I’ve never seen before (and maybe won’t see again). It’s not very often I can say Gandalf married them, and the bride was walked down the aisle by her father in a pandemic hazmat suit. Their wedding screamed personality and it fit so well. I had a blast with them, and I’m so excited to be able to share these photos with you from such a beautiful fall wedding at the Glover Mansion.
Read MoreI only met Nick and Teresa a couple weeks before their wedding. Yeah, WEEKS. It was a jumble of things but in that time we had coffee, explored a mountain lake, got to know each other, and experienced one of the biggest days of their lives. In that time I got to know both of them, how they met, things they love, and genuinely enjoy them as company. So on the day of their wedding I wasn’t surprised when I found out they also have some pretty amazing friends and family. Kind, thoughtful, funny, and ready to have a good time.
Read MoreWhen I first met with Courtney at a local coffee shop I immediately liked her. She was kind, easy to talk to, and we shared some similar things that we both loved (such as fantasy books). While I don’t have my Lord of the Rings lore down as well as her (I’m personally a huge fan of The Wheel of Time) it was something we both loved. Then I met Adam, and he was also easy to get along with, and hearing their story during their engagement shoot was awesome and engaging. So I was very excited for their wedding, with the Lord of the Rings themed tables, dress, and even bouquets. I love how they went all in on the dress, decor, and Talus Rock really complimented the whole thing. Top it all off with the incredible fall colors we got and man, what an incredible wedding. I’m so excited to share these with you, and I hope you love them!
Read MoreChris and Michelle are two amazing people. I’ve liked them every since we met, and that was reinforced when we did their engagement shoot on a freezing cold day last spring. They love each other, they have magnetic laughs and some great friends. This was shown over and over again to me during their beautiful wedding at the Historic Davenport. I am so excited to be able to share these with you, these moments, these people, these photos. It was a beautiful day, one to remember for a lifetime.
Read MoreIt’s not every day, or even every year, you go to a wedding that has two ceremonies. In fact, I believe that’s only happened to me once before, and even then they were on different days. Well Dylan and Sam put that all aside and said “let’s do both!” And so we had a day with multiple dresses, changes, portraits when we could, two ceremonies, great toasts and incredible people. Dylan and Sam are two people that are so great to be around, so kind, and this translates to their friends and family as well. This wedding had so many great moments, I am so excited that I have the chance to share those with you.
