Stefan and Alicia had such an incredibly memorable day. They cried, they laughed, and they had some beautiful, intimate moments - and I had the chance to be there for all of them. From their beautiful first look, to all the amazing people that gave a toast to these two - it was an absolutely special day. One thing seems to be clear from all the friends and family I met during this day - these two are so dearly loved. They have friends, lots of them, and they are so appreciated. It’s always such a great moment for me, just sitting in the back (or the front, in some cases) just listening to their stories, their laughter, and in this case, that happened a lot. I hope you love these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Read MoreGetting to meet the Godfrey’s for their family photos was a privilege. I really enjoyed getting to know them, watching their boys play, and attempting to get their beautiful daughter to smile - and smile she did. Granted, what you don’t see is all the tears she also shed, but that smile man - so worth it. What a beautiful and kind family. Love how these turned out!
Read MoreI had the chance to first meet Boone and Asti at a wedding a couple of years ago (shout out to Andy and Margaux!) where Boone was a groomsman. They were an awesome couple to meet back then, but man, what a privilege it’s been getting to know them more since then. From sharing beers by the river, to their beautiful Davenport Engagement, and now their wedding. These two are just fun humans to be around. Really, look no further than their dancing photos. But man, it has been such an honor to photograph their wedding, to be there for the laughs, tears, and jokes. Here are some of my favorites from their beautiful day.
Read MoreThey met at work - kind of. Basically Kindal would walk by Austin's job every day on the way to her job - but they wouldn’t' talk. This would happen for months, but one day Kindal would be a "recommended follow" on Instagram, so he would do so. Kindal noticed, and hoped he would reach out - he didn't. That is, unless you count him responding to a poll she made once.
Read MoreI really love doing family photos, but historically the one family that is by far the hardest to photograph is my own. Not only because I have to be in some, but because people tend to have absolutely no problem complaining to other family members. That said, this one went really smoothly - which was awesome. I just wish I could have had my whole family there (missing my younger brother and his family). That said, these people are some of the most important in my life, and I am excited to share these with you all.
Read MoreJoey and Crystal had one of my most memorable engagement shoots of the year, being able to not just meet them, but explore the absolute beautiful area around Lake Tahoe and Reno Nevada was an absolute blast. But beyond the trip, and the location, there was another thing very unique about the whole thing - that is we spent a lot of time together. I don’t normally ride in the same car for hours with couples, we don’t normally get six or seven hours to visit - but with them I did. And man, what a privilege. They are so kind, thoughtful, and have had so many life experiences. I loved getting to know them, but even more so getting to know their kids, and their friends at their wedding took things one step further. What a great couple, and one i’m super excited to be able to share these photos with you. I hope you love them!
