Jordan is someone i’ve known a long time. He’s my nephew after all. I’m not 100% sure how old he was when we first met, but my guess is around seven. So being able to watch him grow up, go through high school, find a girlfriend and then get married?! Pretty darn amazing. The girl he’s found, Kailee, has also been quite the blessing. She is always ready to be part of family events and is quick to laugh and have fun. Watching them grow closer (I distinctly remember meeting her while doing Jordan’s senior photos) has been huge for me. I’m excited to be able to share their engagement photos, which are technically not engagement photos (as they are already married!) but hey, who’s counting. I hope you love them!
Read MoreJoel and Alyssa had an incredible wedding day in early October. One of my favorite times of year to be at the beautiful Settlers Creek. The grass is still tall, the shadows are long, and the weather can still be nice. In this case, we got everything: beautiful weather, a great sunset (something I didn’t expect), but more than anything, we had some awesome people. From the beginning of the day with Alyssa and the bridesmaids getting ready (shout out to Tricia with BlushbyT for the makeup) to the very end of the evening with the inflatable orcas, special glasses, and great dance party (thank you to Ryan from Epic Vibe for that), the whole day was beautiful and memorable. Joel and Alyssa are super easy to get along with, and I loved being there for every moment. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding!
Read MoreMic is someone I met for the first time at her senior photo shoot. She was easy to talk to and had several spots planned out for us to go to. All with great foreground and framing - so awesome when people see the things I see. Either way, I love how these turned out!
Read MoreI started to get to know Cole on Instagram as we messaged each other back and forth. He is someone who’s getting into photography, so we talked about that for a bit. It is always an honor to photograph someone who is very opinionated on how the photos should look - it means they’ve looked at your photos with a discerning eye and decided that what you do is the best they could find. A huge compliment. So here are Cole’s senior photos! I hope you love them, we certainly got a great day.
Read MoreMan! This is the third family shoot in a row that I can say I’ve had the chance to see this family grow. And it was a compliment when I talked about it last week, and it’s still a compliment this week. MAN is it good to see Jordan and Bailey again, but it’s also so great seeing their growing family (five now!). I loved seeing them again, but even more so, all the smiles and joy this family of five has is so great. I love how these turned out, and I’m so excited that I can share them with you.
Read MoreI didn’t get a ton of time to get to know Phil and Katie, but from the time I did have with them, it was excellent. They and their friends were so kind, thoughtful, and easy to get along with. Phil and his brothers were quick to laugh, and help when needed (looking at you tie). And their wedding at Talus Rock in Sandpoint was beautiful, with quite possibly perfect weather, and a great group of people. Here are some highlights!
