I met John a couple years ago when I did his oldest sisters senior photos, then again a couple years later when I had the chance to photograph his other sister. So when I was contacted to do his photos, it was a huge compliment (as it always is when someone has seen your work, met you, and wants more). John wanted to show off his two trucks (which we clearly did) as well as capture some photos on the water, because that’s what he loves. I really enjoyed being there, and am pumped to share these with you guys.
Read MoreIt is crazy how life can work sometimes. Each one of us is going through life, trying to live it the best way possible, honor God, love those around us, our family and friends. And sometimes you make a connection. In this case, the connection was with my oldest son’s Kindergarten teacher (who was excellent) and it was her who introduced me to Tyler and Kelsie. And what a blessing that was! Because these two have been so great, from their engagement shoot last year to their wedding this year they have been fantastic. And you can see that permeated through their family and friends. Such a great bridal party (which I think shows in the energy and smiles in the bridal party photos) and at such an incredible location (Settlers Creek). I hope you love looking through these photos as much as I loved taking them.
Read MoreI had the privilege of photographing Eamon’s older brother several years ago, so getting the chance to meet him, and see some of his family again was awesome. it’s always such a huge compliment when someone hires you again, after meeting you, seeing your work, and all the things. This one was no different, and I loved catching up a bit, and getting to know more about this young man. Here are some of my favorites from our time downtown Spokane.
Read MoreMatt and Brooke’s Schweitzer wedding is one I will remember for a long time. I’ll remember driving up the mountain in the morning, looking at the wind and rain and wondering how things were going to go. I’ll remember how they moved their ceremony down to the village so people didn’t get stuck at the top of the mountain. I’ll remember doing photos at the top in the clouds, with the sun popping out between gusts of rain and fog. I’ll remember the dark, moody clouds forming behind them as they were drenched in sun and in that very moment kissing for the first time. I’ll remember Brooke’s smile as they danced. It was a beautiful wedding, with some amazing people, in an incredible location. Here are some of the highlights.
Read MoreMichael and Heather had a beautiful backyard wedding planned in under four weeks. It was beautiful, overlooking the Spokane River, and had some really great moments. I loved meeting both of them, but also their children, and watching them interact. From the morning all the way to the dances at the end of the evening, they were so great to have there. Here are some of my favorites from the day!
Read MoreKanaan and Jessica have a super unique story - very much so, in fact. They met in person. Yes, in real life! No app was involved, no swiping, just two friends named Will and Grace. Jessica and Kanaan were one friend away from meeting for a while, but initially things like both being in a relationship slowed it all down (naturally). But they would finally meet at a Denny's for brunch. No sparks flew. No numbers were exchanged. They met, they ate, and they left (Kanaan was still in a relationship at the time).
