Marc & Amber's Engagement in Manito Park

They met 22 years ago at a conference. It was 1999, and they came together as a group of professionals, and Marc and Amber hit it off. They talked a lot over the course of the four day conference, but in the end, they would go home back to their lives. No numbers were exchanged, and because it was 1999, that also meant that's about where the potential to build on a friendship ended. They would end up seeing each other one more time a year later, and be reminded at just how well they fit - how well they got along - but again, that would end.

Alex and Allison's Spokane Wedding at the Bozarth Mansion

Alex and Allison had such a beautiful wedding - even if the weather on that day was far from beautiful. We had a mix of sun, rain, hail, clouds and everything in between. I honestly can’t say i’ve ever seen a day that random before. That said, I would say we got really lucky, as it seemed to downpour every time we transitioned from one location to the other, and we got some great light from the overcast skies multiple times. But the real highlight of the day was easily Alex and Allison, who were kind, thoughtful, and so so easy to work with. They had meaning and thought woven through the entire day, from Allison’s bouquet to her first dance with her father. I absolutely loved it. So it is such a privilege to be able to share these photos with you, I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them.

Dan and Lisa's Downtown Spokane Rainy Engagement

They first met because of a roommate. Dan and Lisa were invited to join some friends in a escape room, and on the way to pick everyone up, Dan decided he needed to get a pumpkin (you know, for a house warming gift - because, why wouldn’t you?) Looking out from the window Lisa told me she saw Dan and her first thoughts were "oh man, he's actually really cute" but that was a problem, because she wasn't read - at all. So according to her, she went and hid in the kitchen.

Spokane Wedding Photographers: Bryce and Krystal's The Ridge at Greenbluff Wedding

Bryce and Krystal had an absolutely beautiful wedding with so many awesome moments. Personally, one of the ones that hit me the most was when Krystal read some vows to Bryce’s son Caiden - her new stepson - after the first look. He’s about the same age as one of my boys, and you could see on his face how much that moment meant to him, but also Bryce and Krystal. You take moments like that, and combine the hilarious toasts, beautiful final dance and incredible sunset, and you have an absolutely incredible wedding. I’m absolutely excited to share these with you, and I hope you see the moments as they were. I certainly loved being there for them.

Photographers in Spokane: Ted & Sara's Beautiful Davenport Wedding

From the beginning, Ted and Sara are two people I have genuinely enjoyed getting to know. From our snow covered hike for their engagement photos, to one of the most unique moments i’ve ever experienced at a wedding, Ted and Sara have been a joy. Something i’m sure is no new news to you. But for me, as I have gotten to know them, their family and friends, see their passions and likes, it has truly been something I have enjoyed. I will always think fondly on the sunset session we did, where the Lilac Parade was about to start downtown Spokane and we were walking down the middle of the road - An empty road surrounded by people cheering our Air Force pilot. So many good moments, laughs, smiles and people, and i’m so excited that I get to share a glimpse of those moments with. you.

Spokane Wedding Photographers: Cord and Christy's Spokane Valley Wedding

About ten years ago (woah! 10 years!) I had the chance to shoot an incredible couple who are kind, thoughtful, and love their dogs (shout out to John and Michelle!). Their wedding was beautiful, and I loved it. Fast forward to this March and I had the chance to photograph Michelle’s twin sister. What an honor. It's always amazing to me how much I remember about the weddings I shoot, but also how much I genuinely enjoy seeing the people again. This wedding was that way for me, and i’m so excited to share these late March, snow melting-but-still-super-cold-outside photos.
