Eden and Dillon are special. From the first time I met them, to watching Eden say "yes" on the beach in Mexico, I have enjoyed every moment I have had with them. They aren't just cool people, but they are kind, and easy to talk to. They make you feel like you are a part - even if you're just the photographer. I have loved being there for so many of their big family moments, and i'm so proud that I get to share some of those moments here with you today.
Read MoreThey met in high school. While Eden and Dilon are roughly the same age, they were one grade apart. Having similar friends, Dillon and Eden first started talking on Snap Chat. Dillon was filled with confidence (being that it was his birthday) and so he immediately asked Eden out on a date (for two days later) and then followed it up with an unorthodox move - he added her as a friend in the Bible app as well.
Read MoreI first met Dillon and his family at his older brothers wedding (shout out to Brayden and Aeva!) he was in high school then. But I am not exaggerating when I say that this wedding stood out in my mind. Not just because Brayden and Aeva are awesome (because they are) but because their family is awesome. This translated into getting the chance to photograph Dillions senior photos. It was here I had the chance to meet Eden, get to know Dillon more, and his family. In both cases my impression of them and who they are only increased. And I genuinely loved talking with them. So when I found out that Dillon was going to propose to Eden, and that I was being asked to be there, I was so excited. Proposals are some of my favorite things, such excitement and emotion it feels so visceral.
