Coeur d'Alene Family Photos: Demello Family

The Demello family is beautiful - Not just on the outside but on the inside. I absolutely loved getting to know them, their children, and watching them interact. It truly is one of my favorite things, watching families be families. Their kids were so energetic and quick to smile, willing to have fun and get wet (maybe too wet!) But man we had fun for sure. And what an awesome spot we got to do it too, with Coeur d’Alene Lake in the background, while also capturing some of the natural beauty and trees in our area. I am honored to be able to share some of these family photos with you, I hope you love them!

A little more than a year ago I had the huge privilege of taking pictures of an amazing couple at Settlers Creek. Clint and Melissa are two people who had an incredible wedding, with some great laughs, amazing people, and an awesome sunset. Fast forward some nine months and I get an email from Melissa telling me that her and Clint are expecting a baby, and they want me to capture not just their maternity photos - but also some family photos once the little one is born. So amazing! What an honor it is to be there for the engagement, the wedding, and now the beginning of a beautiful family.

The Luman family was such an awesome family to meet. Their children were kind, super easy to work with (and eager!) and so great in front of the camera. The rest of the family was equally nice, and I’m so happy that I was able to capture some meaningful family photos for this group.

I’m pumped to share the Potter family photos on the blog today, not only because they are an absolutely beautiful family, but because it’s one of the first family shoots done by my associate photographer, Dan. As I wasn’t there for the shoot, I don’t have much to say about them, so Dan decided to jump in. "The opportunity to interact & photograph Hillary and her family was an absolute joy to experience! The constant mix of family banter, great laughs and real joy they had together was infectious. They all traveled far to meet together and couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful place. From the oldest generation to the newest, you’d have a hard time telling them apart with their shared energetic spirits and the closeness of their family. The entire session was beautiful and an absolute honor that they chose me to capture these moments. I loved every moment & getting to know each of their stories."

Spokane Family Photos: Opfar Family

The Opfar family is a family that reminds me of the family I grew up in. Three siblings who clearly love each other and a mom who makes it clear that family photos are non-negotiable. For us, this meant that while they were on vacation up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest I had the opportunity to capture this amazing growing family. Of course, this was the week it decided to rain almost every single day. So while we would have preferred the sun and warm tones, we got some rain and cool tones. That said, it didn’t slow down these guys, and we ended up with such an awesome family shoot. I absolutely loved meeting them and getting to know them a little bit more, and I’m so exited I have the privilege of showing off this amazing family.
