Photographers in CDA: The Hartzog Family photos in Dover Bay

It was more than eight years ago that I first met the Hartzog family as I was getting ready to shoot Waylon and Arionne’s wedding. Since then i’ve had the privilege of being there for many other family photos, and it’s such a privilege they think of me every time they come in town. This family is a fun one, quick to laugh, easy to joke with, and just great to talk to. So this particular photo shoot, at the top of a mountain looking over the river and mountains near Sandpoint was a lot of fun for me. Beautiful spot, great people - all I could hope for.

Family Photos on Coeur d'Alene Lake: The McGlothlan Family

About 16 years ago I was trying to figure out how to pay for college. It was confusing, and I didn’t have a lot of help except for the financial aid person at the school I was trying to go to (Multnomah University). Now, if you know me, you know i’m not a particularly shy person so when I had a question I would call Mary up. This was so frequent she eventually had my number memorized, and would answer the phone with “hello Brent…” - good times.

Spokane Family Photographer: The Pavlin Family

To say I’m a huge fan of the Pavlin’s is an understatement. And really, “Pavlin” is only a small portion of this beautiful family, but they were my main contact so that’s what I’m going with! Anyway, I’ve had the chance to get to know this whole family over the course of the last twelve years (which blows my mind) but much more so over the last seven or so. Chris and Bryanna are to people I consider friends, and love spending time with. It’s been a huge joy of mine to not only photograph their engagement out in Seattle, but also their wedding, and their family photos, and their other family photos, and their other family photos - I think you get the idea. It is insane to me to watch a family grow up, and it is such an incredible honor to be there at each amazing step.

Family Photos in Hayden, ID: The Supp Family

I had the chance to meet this wonderful family on a couple days after Christmas. When everyone was together (coming from all over the country - and in some cases, across the ocean) there was absolutely an air of comroderie, family, and general enjoyment in the home. I had a blast being a part of it, and getting to know each of the family units inside of this much larger family. Great people and energy is always something I love to capture, and I hope you see it’s evidence here.

Spokane Family Photographers: The Riegle’s WInter Family Photoshoot

I had only met Jessica and her family one time, and it was at her sisters wedding. So when I found out the whole family was going to be at this winter shoot I was very excited. Not just because I was going to have the chance to see some old clients who I think very highly of, but because I remember her family being so kind. This is still true, they are kind, thoughtful, and so easy to get along with. This is the third time I was out at their home to take photos, and the sixth time I’ve had at least one of them at one of my shoots (shout out to Will and Britta!) but it’s easy to say that every time has been so enjoyable. I hope you love these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

CDA Family Photographer: The Camp Family

I first met Jordan and Bailey during an insane snow storm several years ago as we did their engagement photos. I’ve thought about that moment many times since, not just because of how much snow we got, but how pleasant and great Jordan and Bailey were in such a crazy situation. Since then I’ve had the chance to capture their beautiful wedding, and even their family photos when their daughter was only several months old. What an honor it is, and how much fun it was, getting to capture them again as their family continues to grow (and this time also in the freezing cold and snow). So excited to share these with you, and I hope you love them!
