Coeur d'Alene Wedding Photographer: Jeremiah and Kendra's Wedding

Jeremiah and Kendra are like so many other people in 2020 - everything about their wedding day had to change. The venue they wanted to get married at couldn’t take them, the number of guests they wanted couldn’t come, and they were forced to change everything about their wedding mere weeks before their actual date. To top everything off, they faced down insane smoke and fires from all over the area (which luckily lessened on the day of because of a timely rain storm) and in the end they came down to one conclusion - how much of it all really matters? They wanted to get married, they wanted to tell all their friends and family “I love this one, and no other” and so they went for it. Up at a private residence overlooking Bayview in Idaho, these two had a beautiful wedding, with some amazing friends, great food, and a day they will never forget. I’m pumped to get to share these photos with you, and I hope you love them as much as I.

Coeur d'Alene Wedding Photographer: Mike & Kami's Fall Wedding

Kami is the barista at my favorite coffee shop it Coeur d’Alene (Calypsos Coffee). I love the place for it’s numerous seating options, great people, and friendly atmosphere. So when I found out that the beautiful and kind person who makes my coffee was getting married I was SO excited for her. While their wedding was very small, one thing that was obvious to me was just how much these two loved each other. From their vows, to how they interact, I really enjoyed my time with them, hearing a little bit about how they met (they both worked at Hastings back in the day) and how they came together. I hope you love these photos, as I certainly loved being there to take them.

Smokey Blackwell Hotel Wedding: Casey & Christina

There is something amazing about Casey & Christina. They are both so kind - as i’m sure you know, but that’s not what I mean. For the time I spent with them, Casey is such a well thought, kind human being. He truly cares for Christina and he is actually able to show it. I have to think no further than the letter the wrote her, which she read right before the ceremony - or his vows, or the way he looks at her - It’s just so obvious. Christina, for her part has one of the best smiles i’ve ever seen. She is so emotive, fun, and yes - kind. When going through and trying to select the photos for this blog, I had SO many great photos of Christina and her amazing smile, and it was so hard for me to figure out which one I wanted to feature here.

Wedding Photographers: Eric & Amber's North Idaho Wedding

Eric and Amber told me they didn’t know what to expect from their wedding. As we all know, weddings in 2020 haven’t been super consistent, and the number of people showing up at a wedding can vary wildly. Last minute cancelations are common, and it’s really hard to know what to expect. I know I didn’t expect so many people at their wedding. It was beautiful, lots of friendly faces, lots of laughter, great dancing, and of course an amazing couple. This wedding was so much fun to photograph, and a lot of fun to edit. I hope you love the photos!

Spokane Wedding Photographers: Nick & Kayla's Barn on Wild Rose Prairie Wedding

Getting married in 2020 isn’t nearly as simple as it was in years past. There have been many added layers, complications, and things that brides need to think about. Kayla is no different. When the state of Washington changed the rules and made it so receptions could no longer take place, Kayla moved her reception to her sisters back yard. They cut the guest count for their ceremony by 75% (If I remember correctly) and everything had to change. One thing that didn't? Nick and Kayla. You see, something that’s so obvious for this year is that no matter what happens in the world, love still happens. People still move forward, still love each other. Nick and Kayla had an incredible wedding, filled with incredible people, beautiful moments, lots of laughter, and an unforgettable sunset (oh that sunset!). I hope you love these wedding photos and can share in the joy that this day brought to me, and all those who had the chance to be there.

Spokane Wedding Photographers: Nathan & Juliana

Nathan and Juliana’s wedding was something special. Seriously - I go to a lot of weddings, but there was something incredible about their wedding. I think it was a culmination of things, booking them only a week before their wedding date is part of it (their photographer canceled on them because of COVID), as it meant I knew very little about the bride and groom going into the wedding. This meant that I was very pleasantly surprised to find both of them very kind and thoughtful, but quick to laugh, fun loving, and super easy to get along with. They are people that have magnetic personalities, and are clearly great people - inside and out.
