Robert and Kate’s wedding was incredible. If you find yourself looking through these photos and think you see lightning and a rainbow at sunset, you’re not imagining things, that really happened. But it really just reflects on who they are as people. Both are warm, and kind, but ready to party and have a good time. I loved getting to know these two, watch them interact, and have just an awesome time, and I am so excited that I get to share these wedding photos with you.
Read MoreA little more than a year ago I had the huge privilege of taking pictures of an amazing couple at Settlers Creek. Clint and Melissa are two people who had an incredible wedding, with some great laughs, amazing people, and an awesome sunset. Fast forward some nine months and I get an email from Melissa telling me that her and Clint are expecting a baby, and they want me to capture not just their maternity photos - but also some family photos once the little one is born. So amazing! What an honor it is to be there for the engagement, the wedding, and now the beginning of a beautiful family.
Read MoreCord and Christy have been in the same circle for a long time, but they never really spoke. Cord was a friend of her brother in law (Shout out to the Hess's, one of the first weddings I ever had the privilege to shoot!) and so he was always "around" but Christy was often a little more focused on the other things going on to notice him. That changed one day when Christy's car broke down. She knew Cord was good with vehicles, so she asked Jon if he would ask him if he would help. He did, and in doing so it opened up the conversations. Cord told me he wasn't interested in Christy at the beginning because "he didn’t' have a chance" so he never even considered it.
Read MoreViktor and Rachel are two people I have enjoyed talking to since the day I met them. They were game when the place of meeting was closed and we ended up in Denny’s drinking hot chocolate. They seem like those type of people, ready to go for anything even when it isn’t ideal. That didn’t matter on their wedding day though, as things went so well. It was beautiful. Our weather was perfect, and the Barn on Wild Rose Prairie was as beautiful as ever (look no further than those sunset photos…) These two are kind and thoughtful, with some amazing families that I absolutely loved getting to know. I’m so excited to be the one who gets to share these photos with you, and I hope you love them!
Read MoreAround 8 years ago my wife and I started attending a new church. Our amazing son (Isaiah) was only around two years old then. The church was small with some really great families involved, and the Harrisons were one of them. Muir and Julia have been friends ever since, so when Julia contacted me to see if I could take Cole’s senior photos I was pumped. I had known Cole for years, as he attending the youth group my wife and I volunteered at, and I knew him to be smart and witty, and while I hadn’t seen him in a while I wasn’t surprised that this adult version of himself was just as smart and witty as every. He’s someone I’ve always really enjoyed, and I’m so excited that I have the chance to share these photos of him.
Read MoreSeth and Brittney are two people that I have always loved talking to. Not just because they are kind and thoughtful, but because I feel like we genuinely get along and have similar interests. They are fun, quick to laugh, have some incredible friends and family, and are so much fun to talk to and be with. So there wasn’t much doubt that their wedding would be a blast, and it absolutely was. Rustic River Wedding Venue - just north of Newport - is absolutely beautiful, and I loved getting to explore the many places the location and its grounds had to offer. I hope you love some of my favorite photos from Seth and Brittney’s wedding, as I absolutely loved taking them.
