CDA Senior Photographer: Kenedie Witherow's Senior Photos

A couple years ago I had the chance to meet Kenedie’s brother when I did his senior photos. But she wasn’t here, so going into the shoot all I knew was that Kenedie loved volleyball. Turns out, she doesn’t just love volleyball, but she is also kind, easy to talk to, and has a bright smile - when she’ll show it to me. I absolutely love how these senior photos turned out, from the range we got, to the outfits, to the locations, it was all beautiful and Kenedie made things so easy. I’m excited to share these!

Wedding Photographers: Jesse & Nicole's Elk Point Wedding

Jesse and Nicole are two people i’ve loved talking to - and have some things in common with. I love the story of how they met (check out their engagement blog for that!) and it’s so awesome seeing some people who have taken something that happened a long time ago and make that into something that will continue happening forever. Coeur d'Alene Family Photographer: The Gilbert Family on Rose Lake

I had the chance to meet up with the Gilbert Family as they spent a mini-family reunion out here in North Idaho, specifically at Rose Lake. Not only did we get a picture-perfect day, at an awesome location, but we also happened to have one awesome family. People that were kind, easy to work with and fun to talk to. This family photo shoot was a lot of fun, and i’m excited to share these with you!

Personal: Hiking in the Mountains of North Idaho at Sunrise

Most people don’t do sunrise hikes - or have ever done them. I’m telling you, you’re missing out. While I absolutely love sunset, and I love being at weddings, and getting to know people, and capturing the emotions of people in some of the best parts of their lives, I also love this. Nature. The warm glow of the sun just before it crests the horizon. There are moments up in the mountains that can feel surreal, and you can spend the whole time just looking out going “wow”. It’s not really something that can be put into words, just as emotion always seems to be lacking a word that truly fits it.

Spokane Wedding Photographers: Peter & Calli's The Ridge at Greenbluff Wedding

I still remember meeting Peter and Calli for the first time - it was in the winter during a blizzard. It had maybe snowed 12 inches so far, and it was working really hard on getting to that 13th inch as fast as possible. Being that Peter and Calli were from out of town, moving the day was not really something we could do, plus they really wanted snow. Well snow they got, and we had an incredible memorable engagement shoot.

Business Headshots: Northwest Vision Institute

The other day I had the chance to head out to Airway Heights to photograph some of the fine people at Northwest Vision Institute. I don’t get to show off business headshots here very often, so I figured i’d take the time to do so here. We did a mix of photos, from some photos of the building, to some more casual, natural light photos, to some more traditional studio type photos. This is just a selection of some of my favorites.
