Settlers Creek Wedding: Michael & Misty

They met in Costa Rica. They were there for some coaching and ended up in the same group. They were going through a rapid fire question exercise when Mike noticed Misty - truthfully, she’s hard to miss with those incredibly stunning blue eyes. Mike told me it was like they were “staring into his soul”. This began their friendship - yeah. Their friendship.

The nine days of time built a friendship of theirs that was exciting, new, and exactly that. Well, for Misty. Mike noticed her right away and continued to wonder if something was there, if there was more to it all that he hadn’t seen. So he invited her to go on a vacation with him. She said “only if my mom and two kids can come”. That seemed worth it to Mike, so they call came out. Now, this whole trip Michael was asking himself the question “is this the woman for me” but Misty was still strongly thinking of him as a good friend. It wasn’t until the 3rd night (of the 5 day trip) that she started to see Mike for who he was - the man of her dreams.

She didn’t tell him though. So when they got back and Mike decided he would move on, because Misty was “clearly not interested” he called her and told her his intentions, he wanted to find the woman for him. It took her two hours to realize she wanted to be that woman. After that, the rest is history.

I had so much fun with these two, wondering through the beautiful grounds of Settlers Creek in their incredible wedding and ceremony. They are kind and fun people, and I am so happy for them.
