Wedding at Cider Mountain: Hunter & Jess

Hunter and Jess hold several soft spots in my heart. They had one of my favorite engagements ever being up in the mountains of North Idaho. I absolutely love hiking, exploring, and being in the mountains, and being able to do that with two amazing people was a huge privilege. But they are also directly responsible for one of my other favorites from this year (Shout out to Nick and Autumn!) and after all that we had such an incredible wedding at Cider Mountain. Hunter and Jess are kind, with incredible smiles, and are so easy to talk to. This isn’t just true for the wedding day, but when you hike for hours up in the mountains, you have a lot of time to get to know each other, and doing so with them was an absolute privilege. This wedding had it all, and i’m so excited to be the one to share these photos - these moments - with you. I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them!

Smokey Wedding up at Schweitzer Mountain Resort: Asif & Ashley

Asif and Ashley have been a lot of fun to get to know since I first met them, and our time up at Schweitzer was no different. I loved being with them, meeting all their friends and family, and getting some awesome photos of them up at the top of one of my favorite mountains. Skyler and Kristin are two people I have loved getting to know over the course of their engagement. They are kind, thoughtful, and game for anything (look not further than the side of the mountain photos after the ceremony). I loved watching them dance, getting to know their friends and family, and just being a part of their day. It was beautiful. I hope these photos share a glimpse of what it was like.

Jesse and Nicole are two people i’ve loved talking to - and have some things in common with. I love the story of how they met (check out their engagement blog for that!) and it’s so awesome seeing some people who have taken something that happened a long time ago and make that into something that will continue happening forever. Spokane Wedding Photographers: Peter & Calli's The Ridge at Greenbluff Wedding

I still remember meeting Peter and Calli for the first time - it was in the winter during a blizzard. It had maybe snowed 12 inches so far, and it was working really hard on getting to that 13th inch as fast as possible. Being that Peter and Calli were from out of town, moving the day was not really something we could do, plus they really wanted snow. Well snow they got, and we had an incredible memorable engagement shoot.

I think if I was trying to be technical about it, i’ve known Stephanie for basically her whole life - or, more accurately, i’ve known of her. You see, when I was in high school my friends Tony and Chris were in my class (Tony) or my brothers class (Chris). We played basketball together, ate lunch together, and were friends. I remember when their little sister was born, and was brought to those basketball games. So some 23 years later, when that little girl sent me an email to tell me she was getting married I was surprised and excited!
