Last week I had the chance to go photograph some pretty amazing people. Ryan and Cassidy Bones, along with their friends Jake and Ashley. They are starting a thing called The Marriage Upgrade - you should check them out on Instagram. I had so much fun talking with them, joking, getting photos of them living life together. While i’m super excited to see what they do with the photos, here are just a couple of my favorites.
Read MoreBella and Katie met about 5 years ago because they both swiped right. What I mean by that, is that they met on Tinder. Katie had a rule at the time that even if she matched with someone, she would never message them. So that meant it was up to Bella. She messaged her and they would talk for about two weeks before deciding to meet for the first time.

It was such a beautiful wedding, with some unique twists that i’ve never seen before (such as floating down the river in Tubes to their reception) and one that I fondly think of. So when Jennifer reached out to me and asked if I would be willing to come out to their town and take some pictures of them in their home-under-construction I was pumped. Not only because I enjoy talking with them, but because it’s a type of shoot i’ve never done before. We did some photos on their driveway and around the beautiful property, and then did some inside the house. What an amazing idea, and i’m so pumped I get to share these with you! I hope you love them.

It was beautiful - one of my favorite weddings all year - from the smallest little details all the way to the bride, there was nothing that wasn’t awesome. I loved their wedding, it was fun, beautiful, and filled with amazing people. So when Lauren contacted me to see if I would be willing to photograph them again around their one year anniversary I was super excited. Their engagement photos were awesome, and i’ve always enjoyed just talking with them. It’s one of my favorite things, watching a couple go from unmarried, to married, to growing a life together. I’m looking forward to the next time I get to see these two - whether the lens is there or not.

But very, very rarely do I get the chance to capture a couple who’s story has had time to mature, who’s love has aged like a fine wine. This particular shoot was amazing for me.
