Texas Wedding: Stephan and Juliann's Country Texas Wedding

Stephen and Juliann had a wedding that was incredibly beautiful. I had the privilege of flying down to Houston Texas for their wedding this last March, and several things stuck out to me. One, it's really flat in Texas (I knew this, but it's one thing to know, and another to experience), and two, it's a lot warmer (and greener) in Texas in March than it is up in North Idaho. Now, both of these things probably seem like they are obvious, but what can I say? The last thing that I got to learn while there came to me a little later in my trip - I really love the people.

Coeur d'Alene Photographers: Nick & Brianna's Engagement

They met at the romantic, local spot known as the Beacon. I'm sure many people know the place I'm talking about, and also know it isn't as much romantic, as it is social. Because that's who Nick and Brianna are in so many ways, social. They are so fun to talk to and be with, they have magnetic personalities. It was this trait that actually caught Nicks eye when he first met Brianna, she was just having more fun than anyone else. What ended up happening is that they both were at the bar getting drinks for their friends, and ended up talking - but then they didn't stop. They talked for several hours. This freaked Brianna out, so she called her roommate and he came and picked her up.

Spokane Maternity Shoot: Brendon & Kaylee

A couple years ago I photographed an incredible wedding at Arbor Crest. It was unique, beautiful and fun - and it featured some amazing people. Brendon and Kaylee had a wedding that I’ll always remember, from an incredible first look, to an epic sunset on the rocks overlooking beautiful Arbor Crest. I had so much fun at their wedding, and it was such a highlight for me to see them again, almost exactly a year later (it was about a year and a month) at Brendon’s best mans wedding, Will.

Coeur d'Alene Family: The Harringtons

I met Zach a couple of years ago. He’s funny, charismatic, and we both have a lot of similar passions. He’s been a good friend of mine and i’ve enjoyed his company. So when he asked me to take some photos of his incredible family i was pumped. While Zach and I knew each other, i had never met Lacey or his kids. Furthermore, I knew that this was one of the first times they had ever had a professional take their family photos.

Coeur d'Alene Senior Photographer: Garrett

Garrett is the second person in his family i have had the privilege of shooting senior photos for. Just like his brother (Jonny), he was sociable, easy to work with, and had some great props (did you SEE that van?!) Photographing seniors is something i always enjoy, and this photoshoot was no different. Garrett is finishing up his senior year at Post Falls High School this year.
