I met Dylan the day of our senior photoshoot. I know he loves baseball, shoes, and his friends. While I never played baseball in high school, I did play sports, and I totally understand loving those things. I had a blast getting some awesome photos of him, and am pumped to share those today.

So when Johnny and Shayla asked to go on a drive to one of their favorite places for their engagement photos, I was pumped. We drove along a beautiful river in the canyon, and made our way up along the mountain side. Then I saw it, an incredible spot that was NOT where we planned to go, but it was such an awesome opportunity.

The number was from someone in Atlanta, but I try to answer my phone as much as I can, so I took it. Turns out, it was a real human on the other end, and his name was Brian. He told me he was looking to propose to his girlfriend when he was out in Coeur d’Alene, and wanted to know if I knew of any good places.
Read MoreEllie is an amazing person. I met her about a year ago when I photographed her brothers wedding (which was beautiful) and her family only a couple months before that. They are amazing people. Ellie reflects that in her smile, her mannerisms, the way she talks. Every time I have the privilege of spending time with a Blomgren, it’s a positive one, and this case was no different. I loved every minute of it. Big thanks to the sunflower farm owner who let us use their field with permission, it was beautiful.

The whole family, mom, dad, and sister included. They have always been kind, loving, and considerate to those around them. If you know the Vergeer, it doesn’t surprise you that I would say this. Landon is all of these things. He’s a huge baseball player with an even larger heart, and getting to capture this time in his life was a huge blessing for me.
