Destination Wedding: Vlad & Caitlyn's Oregon Wedding

Vlad and Caitlyn are magnetic people. They have bright smiles, kind hearts, and clearly love each other. But out of that incredible relationship oozes their love for their friends and family. It’s apparent in the way they talk to each other, the way they treat their friends (and are treated by them). The way people interact with their friends tells a lot about someone, and all it told me was something I already knew, these two are amazing people. Not just on the outside - but on the inside. I absolutely had an incredible time in Oregon capturing the love these two have for each other, exploring the mountains, and laughing with these two and their friends. I’m so excited I get to share this wedding with you, and I hope you love our sunset in the mountains as much as I loved being there.

Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photographer: Max & Brittany

In short they met because they went to Police Academy together. Both Max and Brittany are State Police Troopers. But really the story is so much more than that. A month or so before they were to begin their training, their instructor added all the people that would be in the class to one big private facebook group. Really, it's through this that Max and Brittany would first interact and start talking. One thing led to another and Max would drive up to the Coeur d'Alene area to meet Brittany and get to know her better.

It was maybe four or five years ago I met an incredible couple, they were kind, thoughtful and they wanted me to photograph their wedding. Jake and Nicole are those people, and i’ve never failed to walk away from my interactions with them without being impressed. I loved getting to know them at their engagement, and then meeting their amazing family and friends at their wedding, and so when Nicole reached out to me and asked me to photograph their new family of three I was super honored. Not only because they decided to use me again, but because they had trusted me with one of the most important things in life - family. I’m so excited to show off these photos, and I hope you love them as much as I do!

Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photos: Zach & Chelsea

It all started with a business card. But seriously. Zach saw this incredible woman across the room at a work recruiting event. I asked him his motivation for walking up to her, and he said it simply “she was hot.” Chelsea, for her part, said that he was the “hottest guy she’d ever seen” but thought she had no chance because he was “way out of her league.” Zach didn’t even think she was looking for the type of job he needed, but he figured he’d try anyway.
