Spokane Family Photos: Opfar Family

The Opfar family is a family that reminds me of the family I grew up in. Three siblings who clearly love each other and a mom who makes it clear that family photos are non-negotiable. For us, this meant that while they were on vacation up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest I had the opportunity to capture this amazing growing family. Of course, this was the week it decided to rain almost every single day. So while we would have preferred the sun and warm tones, we got some rain and cool tones. That said, it didn’t slow down these guys, and we ended up with such an awesome family shoot. I absolutely loved meeting them and getting to know them a little bit more, and I’m so exited I have the privilege of showing off this amazing family.

Coeur d'Alene Senior Photos: Lilli Madsen

I met Lilli for the first time when we set out to do her senior photos. You see, Lilli isn’t local, so when her family came up here to visit she thought of the (excellent) idea of having her senior photos done in a place that is totally different from where she lives. I not only love that idea, but I’m also pumped that she chose me to be the one to capture those memories and moments. In talking with her I found she is kind, thoughtful, and has great energy. I truly had a lot of fun getting to know her and her family, and I’m excited I get to share these photos with you!

Wedding Photography: Tyler & Kassandra's North Idaho Wedding!

Over 10 years ago I worked at the Coeur d’Alene Resort as a Valet. One of my favorite people to work with was Tyler. If you know him, you know he’s easy to talk to, quick to laugh, and even if it’s pouring rain he’s down to have fun. So when him and Kassandra asked me to be there on their wedding day to capture each moment, I was excited. Tyler has picked an incredible bride who is like him in so many ways. She’s thoughtful and kind, ready for adventure (look no further than their instagram) and seems to always have a smile on her face. Being able to be at this wedding was something I loved, but being able to share these moments, these photos, with you is something i’m extremely proud of. Also, sorry i’m not sorry about all the sunset photos - it was just that good.

CDA Engagement Photography: Jesse & Nicole

They met in high school. They didn't go to the same school but they were on the same track team - or something like that. I asked them what they remembered about their first impression of each other, and for Jesse, it was simple "she's pretty". This is similar to the first thought I had of my wife, so I can relate to that. Anyway, Nicole wasn't too far off, thinking Jesse was "cute". The thing is, they would immediately start flirting. At the time, neither one was in a relationship and Jesse would start hitting on Nicole by telling her jokes. He figured, as long as she was laughing, things were going well.

Spokane WA Wedding Photographer: Ryan & Christine

Ryan and Christine had such an amazing wedding. From some truly unique whiskey in the morning, to the absolutely beautiful cathedral Downtown Spokane, to the absolutely incredible reception venue at Historic Flight, I loved every minute of their wedding. Such great guests, friends, family, they were kind and thoughtful, and it was so easy to laugh with them. I’m so excited that I can share these memories, these moments, with you, and I hope you absolutely love them as much as I loved being there.

Coeur d'Alene Photographer: Bella & Katie's Engagement

Bella and Katie met about 5 years ago because they both swiped right. What I mean by that, is that they met on Tinder. Katie had a rule at the time that even if she matched with someone, she would never message them. So that meant it was up to Bella. She messaged her and they would talk for about two weeks before deciding to meet for the first time.
