Spokane Senior Photographers: Kayla Gerdes

Kayla is someone i’ve known for over ten years now, and the reason is simple, she’s my niece. She was one of the flower girls in my wedding, as crazy as that sounds to me now, as I look and see this beautiful and strong young woman. I loved taking her senior photos, taking the time to talk to her more, and see just how much she has grown up. It always blows my mind, and really, that’s one of the coolest things about senior photos, this is such a great time in a persons life. I’m pumped for Kayla, and it’s incredible how far she has come.

Lake City Senior Photos: Marcus

I had a blast walking around Coeur d’Alene with Marcus, learning about things he loves (hanging with friends, playing baseball) and just getting some great photos of him. I love photographing seniors. High school seniors have so much going on in their lives, from hobbies, to school, to sports and future hopes. They are young, vibrant, and so often ready for what the world has to throw at them - which is great, because the world will definitely do that. Look no further than the year these seniors are graduating in, the world that they are working toward making a life. Jared isn’t just surviving, I would say he’s thriving.

2019 Senior Photos

Last year I had the privilege of photographing a bunch of high school seniors. I love doing senior photos, because it’s different, there is a lot of creativity involved, and we are working to capture them, who they are, and what they love. I could be doing photos with cars, balls, or nothing at all, but every time it’s a challenge. This years seniors have another thing that has changed it all, as so many of these seniors never got to finish their senior year.
