Spokane Photographer: Taylor & Lynsie's Country Engagement

Taylor loved going to Capones. Good food, good beer, friendly service. But one day when he arrived he found out that the beer he liked to drink the most (I'm guessing, but I THINK it was a Coors light in a bottle) they no longer carried, so he had to drink it from a can, or something like that. The drink isn't that important, it's the fact that it wasn't the normal thing. Lynsie, who was a server at Capones at the time noticed he was drinking something different. Now, she wasn't working at the time, rather she was just hanging out and getting some drinks with her friend Zach at the time, but she noticed anyway. The cute guy wasn't drinking his normal drink.

Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photographer: Joe & Alison

He was Maverick. He didn't really plan it, but he figured "hey, why not, I'll go to this Halloween party". What he didn't know was that Allison had spent all last summer binge watching a movie she had never seen before - Top Gun. So when she saw him come in with his leather jacket and aviators, she knew exactly who he was.

North Idaho Wedding at Elkins Resort

In mid April I had the privilege of heading up to Elkins Resort on Priest Lake and take pictures of an incredible and beautiful wedding. It was beautiful. In the midst of the rain and clouds was an area that was gorgeous with green and blue, something that was so obvious to me I added a couple photos of the surrounding area. The couple was so much fun, and while rain often causes distress on wedding days, it didn’t phase either of them. I love photographing weddings, from Spokane to Coeur d’Alene, but Priest Lake and Elkins Resort is always something special.

Spokane Engagement Photographer: Gabe & Bethany

Their family's knew each other for years, but Gabe was one of the only Varela's Bethany had never really spent any time with. She told me that she did have a crush on him. He was always the older brother who was cute, with that great smile. But they never hung out. Instead, Bethany's ties were more with Gabe's mom (who was in 4h with her) and with Gabe's siblings.

Destination Wedding: Our Trip to Mexico

Over the last week I had the privilege of flying down to Mexico for Nick and Brianna’s wedding. While there, I took thousands and thousands of photos (yeah, that’s a lot of photos) and I also had the chance to enjoy a little bit of the Mexican culture. We wondered the streets, bought tacos and Churro’s, drank some Tequila, bartered for better deals and sweated (a lot). I loved everything, from the streets paved with rock and the colorful buildings to the palm trees and beaches.
