Spokane Wedding Photographers: Nick & Kayla's Barn on Wild Rose Prairie Wedding

Getting married in 2020 isn’t nearly as simple as it was in years past. There have been many added layers, complications, and things that brides need to think about. Kayla is no different. When the state of Washington changed the rules and made it so receptions could no longer take place, Kayla moved her reception to her sisters back yard. They cut the guest count for their ceremony by 75% (If I remember correctly) and everything had to change. One thing that didn't? Nick and Kayla. You see, something that’s so obvious for this year is that no matter what happens in the world, love still happens. People still move forward, still love each other. Nick and Kayla had an incredible wedding, filled with incredible people, beautiful moments, lots of laughter, and an unforgettable sunset (oh that sunset!). Personal Photos: Adventure to the Top of a Mountain

This mountain peak is a place i’ve had the chance to visit several times this year. It’s not an easy hike, it’s not even really a hard hike, most people may categorize it as an extremely hard hike. With over 3600 feet in elevation climb, it’s one of the biggest ones i’ve seen, and depending on who you are it could take as little as three hours to climb to the top, or as many as five.

Spokane Wedding Photographers: Nathan & Juliana

Nathan and Juliana’s wedding was something special. Seriously - I go to a lot of weddings, but there was something incredible about their wedding. I think it was a culmination of things, booking them only a week before their wedding date is part of it (their photographer canceled on them because of COVID), as it meant I knew very little about the bride and groom going into the wedding. This meant that I was very pleasantly surprised to find both of them very kind and thoughtful, but quick to laugh, fun loving, and super easy to get along with. They are people that have magnetic personalities, and are clearly great people - inside and out.

Sandpoint Engagement Photographer: Eric & Amber's Sunset Engagement

When Eric first saw Amber, she was eye catching. It could have had something to do with the bikini she was wearing, or the fact that she is stunning, but he didn't hesitate to walk up to her and introduce himself. You see, Eric was new to the area, and he was trying to meet new people, so this party (a mutual friend invited them both) was a great place for that. Amber said she noticed Eric right away, not just because he walked up and introduced himself, but also how he did it. He was calm, confident, and ready to talk.
