Spokane Wedding Photographers: Nick & Teresa’s Downtown Spokane WA Wedding

I only met Nick and Teresa a couple weeks before their wedding. Yeah, WEEKS. It was a jumble of things but in that time we had coffee, explored a mountain lake, got to know each other, and experienced one of the biggest days of their lives. In that time I got to know both of them, how they met, things they love, and genuinely enjoy them as company. So on the day of their wedding I wasn’t surprised when I found out they also have some pretty amazing friends and family. Kind, thoughtful, funny, and ready to have a good time.

Spokane Wedding Photographer: Si and Jasmine at the Chateau Rive

Before this wedding I hadn’t really ever talked with Si. That said, we had known of each other, been in the same circles, but I had never really gotten the chance to visit with him - to talk. Which is super unfortunate because this dude is solid. I have loved getting to know him, and as I’ve gotten to know him - I’ve also gotten to know his beautiful bride. These two are so incredibly kind toward each other, they treat each other with such thoughtfulness and I absolutely love spending time with them. Their wedding at the Chateau Rive downtown Spokane was absolutely beautiful, and filled with so many great people, tons of smiles, and an incredible time. I’m pumped I get to share with you these photos, these memories, and I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them.

Wedding at the Coeur d'Alene Resort: Michael & Preston

Michael and Preston had such an incredible, snowy, winter wedding. It wasn’t just amazing because of their kind and loving families, or because the sun was out (but it was still cold enough to keep the snow nice and fluffy), or because we actually had snow - but because the couple made the night. I don’t think i’ve ever had a bride tough the cold so well, and for so long. Preston wanted winter wedding photos, and she got them! She only had to hide under her (very beautiful) fur coat at the very end of our portraits. But here’s the thing, I don’t remember this wedding just because of it’s great portraits, I remember it for the friends they had, the laughter they brought, and of course the great dancing. I am so excited that I get to share this incredible wedding, and I hope you love the photos, the moments, that I feature here.

Bridal Portraits: Nick & Lourdes

The first time they meaningfully met was when they worked together in the Deli at a Yokes grocery store. I hear it's the hardest job in the entire grocery store. Anyway, Nick and Lourdes didn't hit it off right away, they did become friends though and really enjoyed working together. Lourdes told me that the first thing she thought about nick was that he was "kind of nerdy" which after talking with Nick, is actually a true sentiment. Anyway, these two become friends, and after about six months into their friendship they found themselves working a lot more shifts together. Lourdes eventually would catch Nick's eye and he would start to make moves - not that Lourdes really noticed.

Historic Flight Wedding: Nathan & Whitney's Wedding

Nathan and Whitney are two amazing people. People who I got to know a little bit more during their engagement shoot, but people who - in meeting their friends and family - continued to impress me. Not just with their energy and kindness, but also with their depth and generosity. These two light up the places they go to, they are kind and thoughtful, they are fun and quick to smile, and boy do they love each other. What an honor it was for me to capture these two on their wedding day. I hope you love the photos below, I certainly enjoyed taking them.

Priest Lake Wedding: David & Aly's Hills Resort Winter Wedding

Aly and David asked me to come out to the Hills Resort on Priest Lake for their simple winter wedding late last month. It was beautiful. The day before we got a fresh six inches of snow that covered all the trees and ground, giving us a beautiful blanket of white snow. The couple themselves were so kind, and I loved meeting their families. I love these small, simple weddings that have become more and more common over the last year, and I hope I get the chance to do more of them. Less people, but more time to spend with those people. It was an amazing wedding with great people at a beautiful location.
