Spokane Family Photographer: The Pavlin Family

To say I’m a huge fan of the Pavlin’s is an understatement. And really, “Pavlin” is only a small portion of this beautiful family, but they were my main contact so that’s what I’m going with! Anyway, I’ve had the chance to get to know this whole family over the course of the last twelve years (which blows my mind) but much more so over the last seven or so. Chris and Bryanna are to people I consider friends, and love spending time with. It’s been a huge joy of mine to not only photograph their engagement out in Seattle, but also their wedding, and their family photos, and their other family photos, and their other family photos - I think you get the idea. It is insane to me to watch a family grow up, and it is such an incredible honor to be there at each amazing step.

Family Photos in Hayden, ID: The Supp Family

I had the chance to meet this wonderful family on a couple days after Christmas. When everyone was together (coming from all over the country - and in some cases, across the ocean) there was absolutely an air of comroderie, family, and general enjoyment in the home. I had a blast being a part of it, and getting to know each of the family units inside of this much larger family. Great people and energy is always something I love to capture, and I hope you see it’s evidence here.

Spokane Wedding Photographer: Peter & Calli’s Winter Storm Engagement

So often during engagement shoots we get to talking and I get to hear how a couple met. This isn't uncommon - look at almost any other engagement blog. This, however, isn't what always happens. In this case, with the temperature outside being 11 degrees and the snow coming down in droves, the topic of how Peter and Calli met never came up. It was mostly "here's your coat back" and "brush the snow off your head" and "oh my gosh this is insane!" type talk. For two people who drove up here from Houston, they handled the temperature and weather so well, and were game for anything. Engagement shoots in the snow like this are simultaneously beautiful and absolutely hard to do, as being comfortable, looking happy, and enjoying what you're doing (or at least looking like it) is extremely hard. Needless to say, I had an awesome time with these two, and while I can't share their story, we certainly have an experience we can share together.

North Idaho Winter Elopement Wedding: Richard & Leslie

When I met Richard and Leslie for the first time it was so obvious how they felt about each other. Such energy, excitement, and love for each other. We shared some coffee, and talked about what they wanted. Leslie really wanted snow - something I obviously can’t promise. So when we got about 8 inches of snow the day before her elopement wedding I was pumped for her. And then, when we got the sunny weather to go with that snow (but the colder temps to keep that snow light and fluffy) it was even more amazing. These two had the day they had always wanted, and I’m so excited to say I was able to be there and capture their beautiful wedding on a ridge overlooking Hayden Lake, ID. Huge congratulations to them and I hope you love their photos!

Spokane Family Photographers: The Riegle’s WInter Family Photoshoot

I had only met Jessica and her family one time, and it was at her sisters wedding. So when I found out the whole family was going to be at this winter shoot I was very excited. Not just because I was going to have the chance to see some old clients who I think very highly of, but because I remember her family being so kind. This is still true, they are kind, thoughtful, and so easy to get along with. This is the third time I was out at their home to take photos, and the sixth time I’ve had at least one of them at one of my shoots (shout out to Will and Britta!) but it’s easy to say that every time has been so enjoyable. I hope you love these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

CDA Family Photographer: The Camp Family

I first met Jordan and Bailey during an insane snow storm several years ago as we did their engagement photos. I’ve thought about that moment many times since, not just because of how much snow we got, but how pleasant and great Jordan and Bailey were in such a crazy situation. Since then I’ve had the chance to capture their beautiful wedding, and even their family photos when their daughter was only several months old. What an honor it is, and how much fun it was, getting to capture them again as their family continues to grow (and this time also in the freezing cold and snow). So excited to share these with you, and I hope you love them!
