Jared and Kat’s wedding will have a special place in my heart for years to come, I am sure. It was unique through and through, from the amazing costumes they both wore on their wedding day (Dr. Who and the Tardis), to the games they decided to play (from board games, card games, to trivia with their guests and even jeopardy), it was something I’ve never seen before (and maybe won’t see again). It’s not very often I can say Gandalf married them, and the bride was walked down the aisle by her father in a pandemic hazmat suit. Their wedding screamed personality and it fit so well. I had a blast with them, and I’m so excited to be able to share these photos with you from such a beautiful fall wedding at the Glover Mansion.
Read MoreKyan and Beth are two people I have enjoyed talking to since the moment I first met them at a coffee shop downtown Coeur d’Alene. They are both so kind hearted, and talking with them has always been so easy. This was emphasized to me even more when, on their wedding day, I found myself sitting at their table (in the back, as they ate before their reception even started) eating dinner with them. I’ve always enjoyed their company, and I don’t see how that could ever change. So when I heard from Beth about capturing their growing family I was very excited. Not just to be able to see them again, but to be able to capturing that amazing little smile was absolutely awesome. I am so happy for both of these new parents, and I am so excited that I can share these photos with you.
Read MoreI only met Nick and Teresa a couple weeks before their wedding. Yeah, WEEKS. It was a jumble of things but in that time we had coffee, explored a mountain lake, got to know each other, and experienced one of the biggest days of their lives. In that time I got to know both of them, how they met, things they love, and genuinely enjoy them as company. So on the day of their wedding I wasn’t surprised when I found out they also have some pretty amazing friends and family. Kind, thoughtful, funny, and ready to have a good time.
Read MoreI had the chance to meet all four of these amazing people (three siblings, 4 if you include Jake who married in) at Jake and Taylor’s wedding about a year and a half ago. Not only was their wedding beautiful, but they also had some amazing friends and family there. Since then I’ve always enjoyed their company, and so when Taylor reached out and asked me to take some photos of her and her siblings, I was excited. We couldn’t have gotten a better day too, and I love these warm tones we got for this family/sibling shoot. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Read MoreThe met online, using an app called Hitch - if I remember correctly. From what I understand, it's a lot like Tinder, but supposed to be a little more serious - for people looking for an actual relationship. Anyway, Ted liked one of Sara's photos. I asked him what were his initial impressions of her and he said she was super pretty and also loved to travel. Sara's first impression was along a similar line - Ted was a pilot (and still is!). A pretty great thing for someone who loves to travel.
Read MoreWhen I first met with Courtney at a local coffee shop I immediately liked her. She was kind, easy to talk to, and we shared some similar things that we both loved (such as fantasy books). While I don’t have my Lord of the Rings lore down as well as her (I’m personally a huge fan of The Wheel of Time) it was something we both loved. Then I met Adam, and he was also easy to get along with, and hearing their story during their engagement shoot was awesome and engaging. So I was very excited for their wedding, with the Lord of the Rings themed tables, dress, and even bouquets. I love how they went all in on the dress, decor, and Talus Rock really complimented the whole thing. Top it all off with the incredible fall colors we got and man, what an incredible wedding. I’m so excited to share these with you, and I hope you love them!
