They met on a blind date. Carson and Arianna had only talked for the first time the day before, when Arianna (who had run out of gas) was waiting for help, and they talked on the phone. It was "a little awkward" but mostly they had a good conversation, with Carson getting some good laughs out of Arianna.

We could talk about how I met them, that beautiful, energetic, maid of honor I had the privilage of getting to know at a wedding I photographed a couple years ago. I could even talk about the beautiful engagement photos on this blog today, how we got so lucky with snow, and our adventures in making this shoot come to life.
