There is something amazing about photographing families. I think a lot of it comes from the fact my family has grown, now that I have two boys (ages 8 and 5) and my wonderful wife, I know that they are the most important people in the world to me. They bring so much joy and laughter, it isn’t something that can be described. So when I get the chance to capture that for someone, to capture the most important people in someones life, it’s a privilege. In this case, it’s two fold - as the Yergler’s are also old friends of mine. They are people I enjoy and love to spend time with. So here is this amazing family of three, with the fourth to be coming any time!
Read MoreToday I have the opportunity to introduce you (if you haven’t been already) to the best family i’ve ever met. Seriously, the best. There is no family I love more, there are no kids I love less, there isn’t a wife more beautiful - than appear in this family. This family features the best grandparents, the best uncles, and the best cousins someone could ever hope for. This Is my family. My brothers and sisters, my parents, my nieces and nephews, and of course my incredibly beautiful wife and two boys (and our new dog!). Ever year we go and I attempt the hardest family photo session ever - my own family. So I hope you love them as much as I do, because they are truly beautiful.
Read MoreAbout a year and a month ago I was with two amazing people in Mexico as they got married. The wedding was incredible, not just for photos, but because of the people there. So many kind people, with great energy and a love for life. So when I found out that Nick and Brianna were expecting TWINS, I couldn’t have been more happy for them. I love these two. And if you know them, you know when I say that it’s just fun to spend time with them, you know i’m telling the truth. I can’t wait to see their beautiful baby boys (and boy will they be beautiful!) But until then, I can show you these.
Read MoreAbout a month ago I got a phone call. The kind person on the other end told me that you guys voted me the best photographer in the area. I haven’t been able to share this information until recently, and i’m so pumped to be able to share it with you now. Last year was something special, and it was each one of you wonderful people that made it that way.
Read MoreSeveral years ago I photographed a wedding for Chris and Bryanna - two people I have come to know and love dearly - in that wedding party was an incredibly beautiful, energetic, kind bridesmaid (actually, the whole bridal party was pretty awesome, but this isn't about them). Anyway, her name was Jessica. Over the years she has gotten married - to an equally kind and thoughtful guy named Greg - and had an incredibly beautiful child. When they asked me if I could photograph their new family, I was so excited. The day we ended up with was perfect (for mid February that is), we actually had sun, and it wasn’t below freezing. In short, it was beautiful. I love the photos I got, and i’m so excited for this beautiful family.
Read MoreI say it’s the Epperson family but really the names are all over the board. But that’s not the point, the point is that this amazing woman named Rosey Epperson grew up, got married, and then had three amazing daughters. Those daughters then went and got married and had some kids of their own. And some of those kids went out and got married, and they had kids of their own. So on this sparkly night downtown Coeur d’Alene, this photographer had the chance to photograph such an incredible family. These aren’t all the “combinations” we went with, or even all the individual family units. These are just some of my favorites.
