Chris and Sammy had such an amazing wedding at the Davenport Downtown Spokane. As I was going through their photos it reminded me of so many amazing moments, from the bridesmaids crying as the bride danced with her dad for the first time, to the amazing first look where Chris showed how clearly he loved Sammy, to their amazing last dance - which was them all alone on the dance floor as the night faded away. Each moment was something I loved to capture, something I loved to be able to be there so that they would always remember. Now the other amazing thing is, I get to share those things with you today, and I can’t wait for you to see them! So scroll down, and let me know what you think.
Read MoreThere is something about photographing weddings that is just so fun. Seeing people in love, but also seeing them with their friends and families is so meaningful. Kekoa and Rachel’s wedding just outside of Spokane at On Rivers Edge was beautiful and filled some great moments.
Read MoreGabe and Bethany are two amazing people. I’ve known Gabe for several years as I had the privilege of photographing his sisters wedding, and then his younger brothers wedding. Similarly, i’ve loved working with him over the years at other various events and weddings as he has been a key factor in how great Settlers Creek is. To be frank, there’s nothing not to like about Gabe - he’s kind, well spoken and caring. Bethany, whom I haven’t know for as long, is an amazing match. She has always been so considerate and hard working, and her smile is genuine and thoughtful. I have enjoyed every conversation i’ve had with her. Over the last couple years I have gotten to know her and her family at church, and it has only reinforced these opinions of her. So being able to be there when these two people have said “I want you and no other” has been such a privilege for me.

Before photographing their wedding, I had not known them (although some amazing people I know did, such as my incredible wife) but over the course of their engagement photos and several meetings, I have grown to know them more.
Read MoreWhat feels like a long time ago I worked with Nick. We parked cars together. He was someone I always enjoyed working with, he was easy to talk to, relatable, kind, hard working (one of the most important factors to having a good coworker). We even went snowboarding together once (we both ended up leaving pretty sore, if I remember correctly, as we both hit a jump a little too hard, a little too fast).
Read MoreIn mid April I had the privilege of heading up to Elkins Resort on Priest Lake and take pictures of an incredible and beautiful wedding. It was beautiful. In the midst of the rain and clouds was an area that was gorgeous with green and blue, something that was so obvious to me I added a couple photos of the surrounding area. The couple was so much fun, and while rain often causes distress on wedding days, it didn’t phase either of them. I love photographing weddings, from Spokane to Coeur d’Alene, but Priest Lake and Elkins Resort is always something special.
