Kami is the barista at my favorite coffee shop it Coeur d’Alene (Calypsos Coffee). I love the place for it’s numerous seating options, great people, and friendly atmosphere. So when I found out that the beautiful and kind person who makes my coffee was getting married I was SO excited for her. While their wedding was very small, one thing that was obvious to me was just how much these two loved each other. From their vows, to how they interact, I really enjoyed my time with them, hearing a little bit about how they met (they both worked at Hastings back in the day) and how they came together. I hope you love these photos, as I certainly loved being there to take them.
Read MoreThere is something amazing about Casey & Christina. They are both so kind - as i’m sure you know, but that’s not what I mean. For the time I spent with them, Casey is such a well thought, kind human being. He truly cares for Christina and he is actually able to show it. I have to think no further than the letter the wrote her, which she read right before the ceremony - or his vows, or the way he looks at her - It’s just so obvious. Christina, for her part has one of the best smiles i’ve ever seen. She is so emotive, fun, and yes - kind. When going through and trying to select the photos for this blog, I had SO many great photos of Christina and her amazing smile, and it was so hard for me to figure out which one I wanted to feature here.
Read MoreShane, Whitney and I had an incredible engagement session at the top of Mount Spokane. it was simultaneously everything I had hoped for, and nothing that I had wanted. We had fog, rain, wind, smoke and sun. We had fall colors, deep greens, dense forest and mountain views. What we didn’t get was access to the top of the mountain (which had closed a right before we had gone up) much to the dismay of both myself and Whitney, both of us really looking forward to the top of the mountain (although the wind would have been in the 40mph up there that day, it was crazy.
Read MoreThey met online. It wasn't one of those things where they both downloaded the app/created the profile and the first person they found was "the one". In fact, both Paul and Lela had some pretty bad experiences. It just wasn't what they hoped it would be. Well, a couple days before Lela deleted her profile she got a message from a dude named Paul. He didn't do the typical things like "Sup girl" or "hey." instead, he actually wrote a meaningful, thoughtful message to her. Unsurprisingly, it worked.
Read MoreEric and Amber told me they didn’t know what to expect from their wedding. As we all know, weddings in 2020 haven’t been super consistent, and the number of people showing up at a wedding can vary wildly. Last minute cancelations are common, and it’s really hard to know what to expect. I know I didn’t expect so many people at their wedding. It was beautiful, lots of friendly faces, lots of laughter, great dancing, and of course an amazing couple. This wedding was so much fun to photograph, and a lot of fun to edit. I hope you love the photos!

From the first moment we met Brent, he was very personable while providing us great details on what to expect on our wedding day. He made the process seamless and easy for us. While we had to pivot from our original plans, Brent was there to help every step of the way. He provided great insight and we really appreciated all his help. On our wedding day, Brent’s presence added to the fun we all had. He was…
