Spokane Family Photographer: The Odeh Family

This family is something special. Seriously, the Odeh family is one of those families I enjoy seeing, talking to, and laughing with. Going back to their engagement photos, their wedding, and the maternity photos I took with them before their first child was born, I have always enjoyed these two. So when I got an email from Caitlin asking me to capture some maternity photos before their second child came, I was so honored. It’s something i’ve been seeing more (my wedding clients growing families) and it’s hard not to be floored with appreciation. I get to be there, I get to see, not just the beginning, but the follow through. I get to see the incredible families that their wedding started - that was born from their commitment to each other. I absolutely love it. Here’s to the Odeh family, and everything they are, I couldn’t be happier for them.

Coeur d'Alene Family Photographer: Roush Family

The Roush family had the honor of doing family photos when it was about 15 degrees outside. Yes, it was quite cold. But, the benefit to that timing was we got some incredible, beautiful snow. Great winter outfits, and a lot of cold jokes. I truly enjoyed meeting this family, and i’m so excited I get to share the photos with you.

By The Lake Venue Wedding: Bede & Angie

Bede and Angie had a huge focus for their wedding - the people. They wanted to spend a lot of time with their friends and family, whether that was dancing on the dance floor or sitting by the fire, it was about sharing their biggest day with their best friends. The location - By The Lake Venue - was great for this, where their friends and family could all arrive by boat to their wedding, and spend time just hanging out. I really enjoyed these two, getting to know them, their family, their friends, and i’m so excited that I get the chance to share these photos, these moments, these memories with you all for the first time.

Priest Lake Wedding: Paul and Lela

As the wedding season gets closer and closer to fall, the risk of rain or bad weather increases dramatically. Often times, when we get rained on at a wedding, it’s only briefly, or it’s a really light rain. Things we can easily work around. Only a couple times have I ever been so limited by the rain that I couldn’t go outside at all. Only a couple times has it been so bad that going outside to take some wedding portraits would mean the couple also getting soaked. This was one of those days. The rain wasn’t so bad in the morning, and it looked like we may get lucky during the first look (it was very light) but mid portraits the rain moved from “light” to “very heavy” and my gear really started to get tested (including the couple umbrella’s I brought).

Wedding in Spokane: Jaron & Paige

Jaron & Paige are two people that had to move their wedding for 2020 to 2021. They ended up with a beautiful - and rainy - wedding day filled with friends, beautiful moments, and an awesome location. Jaron and Paige are two people i’ve really enjoyed getting to know, not just during their engagement session but also at their wedding. Them and their new family of four is something that is so beautiful, and I love that I had the chance to be there to capture them, to capture and photograph these memories that they’ll be able to share for many years to come.
