CDA Resort Wedding: Zach and Chelsea

Zach and Chelsea are two people with magnetic personalities. They are fun to be around, their friends are fun to be around, and things seem to just flow with them. So when on their wedding day the wind blew and the sun came and went I wasn’t a big deal. I think it’s obvious in the photos at just how much fun these two had on their wedding day, and I can say I also had a blast. I love their story, their friends, and the family I met. And you add on top of that the incredible location at the CDA Resort and the incredible backdrop of Coeur d’Alene Lake, I am absolutely pumped with the photos I have the chance to share with you. I hope you love them!

Spokane Photographers: Nick & Teresa’s Fall Engagement

Nick and Teresa are two people I met only days before their engagement, and only weeks before their wedding. They are both friendly and kind, beautiful and thoughtful. They fit so well together. Each interaction I’ve had with them, from coffee to a nighttime stroll through Spokane has been one I’ve loved, and getting to know these two amazing people has been a privilege of mine. I’m so excited I have the chance to share their engagement photos with you, and I hope you love them as much as I do!

CDA Family Photographers: The Rhodes Family

What is there to say about the Rhodes family aside from what you see on this blog? Two kind, thoughtful parents, with four children that are quick to laugh, even quicker with a goofy face, and all of whom seem incredibly happy. My time with them was a blast, between watching the siblings play, to watching their parents be totally willing to join in. Their family photo shoot was not only enjoyable for me, but I think that joy translated so well in these photos. I’ve been excited to share these with you, I hope you love them!

Coeur d'Alene Engagement: Max & Sam

Sometimes mutual friends can be a little devious. They can make plans behind your back - because they love you. And that's exactly how Max and Sam met. You see, Sam was having a birthday party (which her birthday almost always coincides with opening day of the NFL) and so she had invited a bunch of friends out to watch the game with her. Some of Sam's friends came, and they brought someone she did not know - Max. Now, Max told me that when he first say her his first impression was something along the lines of "dang!" - she is quite attractive. Sam, however, told me she barely noticed him, he was just hanging out. But as the night went on, Sam started to notice that Max would end up in her conversations (not in a weird way) quite often, with little bits of input, a quick quip, or something more. She started to notice him, and so she asked her friends "who is this guy"? But she didn't really know he was interested in her until the end of the night when he asked her for her number.

Spokane Wedding Photographer: Max & Brittany’s Barn on Wild Rose Prairie Wedding

Max and Brittany are two amazing people. They love those close to them fiercely, and they know who they are. They love each other, they love their family and they love their animals. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bride ask me to focus on the animals as much as Brittany did, but what an awesome opportunity to get some truly unique photos! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a photo of a bride feeding a baby cow milk on her wedding day. But I can check that one off the bucket list. Max and Brittany are awesome, and I truly enjoyed their company, their family, and meeting all their friends at their beautiful wedding, and I’m so excited to be able to share these photos with you of their big wedding day at The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie.

CDA Family Photographer: The Buckland Family

Another shoot from our associate photographer Dan! Here’s what he had to say about his time with the Buckland. “Long laughs and great conversations, make spending time with this incredible family so worth it! I had the fantastic privilege of meeting the Buckland family for a family photoshoot at Lake Pend Oreille. When Tad and Audrey aren’t steadily hard at work, they love to soak up every moment of family time biking, hitting the winter slopes and everything else with their son Luke and family furry doodle companion, Braxton. Braxton’s love for attempting to “hug” every duck in sight made for the best addition to a great shoot! Hanging out with this family was a joyful and warming experience, experiencing the love they have for each other, never taking anything too seriously, their joyful attitudes, and how they soak up and enjoy every moment together. Easy laughs, tons of smiles, and lots of chasing ducks. (Braxton’s contribution).”
