A couple summers ago I got to photograph Jake & Taylor’s wedding! Their wedding was amazing! I really enjoyed getting to know Jake & Taylor and being able to capture their important day! So, when I saw a couple months ago Taylor was kind enough to write me this review… I couldn’t help but share it with you! :)
Read MoreScotchman’s Peak is one of my favorite hikes in the area. The top of the mountain isn’t just a small little nub with some views, rather it features huge cliffs, strong lines and incredible views. I love it. It also often has mountain goats at the top (although not this time). Every time I do the 3600 vertical feet climb I think of how incredible this world is, how beautiful and lucky we are to explore it and be a part of it. So when Jake and Taylor mentioned doing the hike for their engagement photos I was pumped. What an awesome opportunity, what a rare place to do photos. The It’s a beautiful spot, and while we were absolutely freezing up there (with the wind, it had to have been in the low teens) I absolutely love the photos I get to share with you. What a great experience.

From their first look, to their amazing friends and family, to their incredible sunset (which I may have posted too many of their photos from that sunset session… sorry i’m not sorry?) Jake and Taylor are two amazing humans. I loved getting to know them, watching them smile big, laugh, and have a great time with each other. Whether that’s eating some pepperoni pizza real quick in the middle of our photo session or trying not to flip over while floating out on the pond, these two were amazing, and i’m so excited that I get to share so many amazing moments from one of the biggest days of their lives.
