Senior Photos: Conner Childs

Conner Childs is someone i’ve known since he was around three years old. And for me, knowing he is a senior in high school is a crazy feeling - and certainly makes me feel old. And while I haven’t seen or spoken with him in years, it was awesome getting to talk with him again and see how life has been treating him. I hope to get the chance to watch him this winter when his basketball team comes up to play the local Lake City Timberwolves in the Christmas tournament.

Spokane Engagement Photographer: Sam & Shea's Engagement Photos

Sam and Shea knew about each other way before they ever really got to know each other. Their friends were friends. The first time they ever really talked Shea was having a party at her house, and Sam's roommate was going, so he invited Sam. Sam had known about Shea through various stories (some involving garage doors) and decided to go - he wasn't doing anything anyway.

Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photographer: Damian & Izzie's Forest Lake Engagement

They met online, as many people do these days. Although, it wasn't the normal way. It wasn't on Match.com, or Tinder, or anything like that. It was on a forum (basically). Izzie had replied to something Damian had said, and that sparked a conversation. Well, that went for a little while and interest was stirred. They both quickly realized that they both have a lot of interests in common, from their love of cars, to even religion, things seemed to just - work.

Engagement Photographer: Alex and Kayla's North Idaho Engagement

They met in high school. They had some mutual friends, and Alex just showed up at Kayla's house one day. I asked them if either of them were interested from the start, but that didn't happen. But neither of them were repelled by each other either. In fact, they became friends! I tried to understand when the thought process between "oh we're good friends" changed to "oh, I want to date this person" and for both of them, it was a couple months after they met. They had been hanging out every day, and so their friends could see it coming, but eventually they realized they liked each other.

North Idaho Wedding Photographer: Brenden & Katie's Sandpoint Wedding

Almost a decade ago Brenden and I parked cars together. We were friends, although we were never best friends. I loved how he possessed a large amount of common sense, worked hard, and had a good sense of humor. Then we both got different jobs, and life took us different directions. But this year I got to reconnect with him, get to know Katie, his incredible, beautiful bride, and capture these two at their super laid back, lakeside wedding. I had so much fun getting to know people, and capturing these two and the amazing moments surrounding it.

CDA Photographer: David Repsch's Senior Photos

I didn't know much about David before I met him. But I can say that after I did, I became a fan. He was kind, well spoken and knew what he wanted. Something that impressed me the most, in fact, was his attitude toward his sister who came with us on our adventures. So often siblings in high school d on’t get along, but these two do. They share some passions, but they also are unique. And unique is what David has in spades. It isn’t just his 40+ pairs of shoes (only a small sampling featured here) or his excellent taste, but also in his awesome and unique hobbies (boxing, anyone?). It was so much fun getting to know him, and i’m glad I get to share his senior photos with you.
