Spokane Engagement Photographer: Nick & Kayla's Christmas Engagement

It all started when Kayla and her older sister Dani "left" (word on the street is they might have snuck out) the house one night to go to the park to meet some boys. They were in high school at the time. Nick was pulled along by his friend, and when they arrived they talked and hung out. I asked Nick what he thought when he first saw Kayla and it was something along the lines of "dang" but my memory is a little weak. Anyway, they talked, and eventually had to go back - so the boys (being the gentleman they are) decided to walk them back. It was here, Nick would give Kayla a kiss.

Spokane Wedding Photographers: Nick & Caroline's Spokane Club Wedding

A couple years ago I had the privilege to photograph my friend Danny and Chelsea Davis’ wedding. It was beautiful with some incredible people and awesome moments. It was also at this wedding that Nick and Caroline really started to hit it off. Now, they had actually met earlier than the wedding itself (I believe at a pre-wedding function), but certainly that is part of the story. And these two amazing people got a hold of me last year to see if I could photograph their black tie Spokane Club wedding.

Coeur d'Alene Family Photographer: The Epperson Family

I say it’s the Epperson family but really the names are all over the board. But that’s not the point, the point is that this amazing woman named Rosey Epperson grew up, got married, and then had three amazing daughters. So on this sparkly night downtown Coeur d’Alene, this photographer had the chance to photograph such an incredible family. These aren’t all the “combinations” we went with, or even all the individual family units. These are just some of my favorites.

Harry Potter Themed Wedding: Damian & Izzie's Glover Mansion Wedding

Damian and Izzie and a beautiful and unique wedding. Fantasy books were cutup and created into flowers, not only creating Izzie’s bridal bouquet but also the centerpieces. Their Cake was a beautiful - and incredible - recreation from Harry Potter, and the bridal party were all wearing appropriate clothes for the occasion. It was truly a unique experience - from Izzie’s stunning black dress to the words in her bouquet, it was awesome.

Spokane Family Photographer: The Pavlin Family

So this is a family that I love for so many reasons. I could talk about the weddings i’ve photographed, or the drinks we’ve had, or the basketball i’ve played - with almost every single member of this family I have gotten to know from various things and i’ve loved every moment of it. They are kind, thoughtful, funny, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. So doing this was pretty great, getting to photograph their amazing family. I hope you love these. :)

Spokane Wedding Photographer: John & Renae's Beacon Hill Wedding

So when I was in 7th and 8th grade I was part of a pretty amazing class. I didn’t go to a public school, rather, I was part of a small Christian school in Post Falls, Idaho. The class size was roughly 25 students - super small by public school standards, but a great size for making friends. Not so small you had no options, but small enough that you can know everyone. I loved it. I loved the people, I loved the teachers, I loved my friends.
