Family Photos on the Lake: The Reed Family

I had the chance to meet the Reed family when I pulled up at their house the day of this shoot. They (and a bunch of other family members) and traveled up to Sandpoint Idaho to have a big family get together. This family is so beautiful. I couldn’t help but think about how family’s grow and each develop their own unique character as I was editing this photo. All this happened because two people fell in love. They had some kids who in turn fell in love and decided they wanted to bless the world with some amazing kids. I truly enjoyed my time with this large, beautiful family, and i’m so excited I get to share these photos with you.

Wedding at Settlers Creek: Jarrod & Kelly's Wedding Photos!

Jarrod and Kelly had a beautiful wedding at Settlers Creek. The day, despite looking like it was going to rain at any given moment, was beautiful. It gave us soft tones and dramatic skies. Their wedding day had many beautiful moments, from the many laughs during their toasts to their first dance, each and every moment was amazing, and i’m so happy I get the chance to share those photos with you.

Family Photography: The Lanterman Family

A couple years ago I had the chance to finally meet the Lanterman family. They were guests at a wedding I was photographing and It was great to finally meet them (we had mutual friends, but I had never actually met them). I asked them if I could take a picture of their beautiful family and they told me later that they printed that photo out and hung it in their house. Such an honor to be able to capture something like that, something that doesn't take much time, but is infinitely valuable as your kids grow up and life moves on. So when they asked me to come out and get some more pictures of their family (plus some of their extended family), I was so excited. Jackson and Becky are just great people, kind, thoughtful, and fun to talk to. I’m so happy I could capture their now family of 5, and keep those priceless memories on their walls.

Downtown Spokane Engagement Photos: Alex & Kristal

The first time they met they worked together. Alex didn’t' work the same shifts and Krystal, and so they didn’t actually see each other very much. Now you may not know this about Krystal, but she loves to talk to people and say hi to everyone. So when she said "hi" to alex as they passed each other on the shift change, he didn't really respond. He wasn't trying to be rude, he just didn't respond with the same energy that she had.

Coeur d'Alene Family: The Griswold's Get Family Photos!

I met Brian and Caitlin for the first time during this shoot. One thing was obvious right away, this beautiful family is kind, quick to smile, and so easy to get along with. Brian and Caitlin recently had their first child (Gideon) and while he spent some of the time staring me down, he’s also got an absolutely beautiful smile. What an honor it was for me to be able to photograph this new family of three, and i’m so excited to share these family photos with you!

Engagement Photographer in Spokane: Jaron & Paige

They met when they were young teenagers. Jaron told me that when Paige moved into his neighborhood all the guys were talking about her. "she was smoking hot." Jaron told me. It wasn't vague either, he clearly remembered her, and his first meeting with her. Paige, for her part, remembered a super happy go lucky guy with long curly red hair. They liked each other. They spent time together, but, as 13 and 14 year old's do, they lost contact when one of them moved away.
