I had the chance to meet the Brame family earlier this summer out at Black Rock. Two brothers went out and found two beautiful, kind woman and both of them had two kids. These kids are vibrant and liviely, and absolutely beautiful. I’m so honored to get the chance to share some of these family photos with you. I hope you love them!
Read MoreA long time ago I used to attend a college group at Real Life Ministries. There I met some of the best people in my life, people I loved, people I had great friendships with, and people who have made my life better. Among these friends i’ve found people like my best friend Brent Billings (whom many of you have met) and my absolutely incredible and beautiful wife Crystal. But among that same group I also knew Hank and Mandi. I remember when they were first dating - and when they got married. I also remember when their first born son (Topper) was born, and Truit followed along not too long after. This family is literally one i’ve seen grow from the beginning (even if I wasn’t taking photos back then). So when Hank and Mandi asked me if I would take their family photos, it was a huge honor. Not just because i’ve had the chance to do it before (and anytime someone asks again, it’s a huge compliment) but because they have been a family that has hugely blessed mine. I love these guys, and i’m so excited that I get to share some photos of these beautiful people.

I absolutely love watching the kids get excited about it, loving looking at the photos on the back of my camera (something I do often), and just having a good time. They are two people I got along with immediately, and had a great time with. They are quick to smile, and so genuine. I see this reflected in their friends as well, who were so kind and engaging, making their beautiful wedding at Arbor Crest - with the ceremony at the beautiful St Aloysius Church at Gonzaga University - something i’ll remember for a long time. Read MoreJeff and Katie are two amazing people. Both live in DC these days but Jeff grew up here in the Pacific Northwest, in Sandpoint. Katie had never been out here though before they met, and when we did this engagement shoot this was one of the first times she had ever been in the area. There were a lot of things that stood out to me about this experience for her. One of them was how kind the people are up here in the Northwest. For one of the photos below (them sitting on a bench with just the water behind them), there were some girls sun bathing in the way. I may have been able to make the shot work with them in there, but instead they looked up and said “do you want us to move?!” - such a kind question.
