Coeur d'Alene Family Photographer - The Walter Family

Several years ago I photographed a wedding for Chris and Bryanna - two people I have come to know and love dearly - in that wedding party was an incredibly beautiful, energetic, kind bridesmaid (actually, the whole bridal party was pretty awesome, but this isn't about them). Anyway, her name was Jessica. Over the years she has gotten married - to an equally kind and thoughtful guy named Greg - and had an incredibly beautiful child. When they asked me if I could photograph their new family, I was so excited. The day we ended up with was perfect (for mid February that is), we actually had sun, and it wasn’t below freezing. In short, it was beautiful. I love the photos I got, and i’m so excited for this beautiful family.

Spokane Engagement Photographer: Brady & Neale's Incredible Lake Engagement

They met in the lab. Brady had the only source of de-ionized water, and Neale and her friend needed some. They were also bored, so they went over there, and started to talk. Brady’s first impression was that Neale was beautiful, kind, and fun to talk to, but he only thought of her has a friend. Neale also found Brady cute, but also funny. They would talk for an hour or so (with their mutual friend as well) then move on.

Johnny and Shayla had a beautiful wedding in the mountains in the panhandle of North Idaho this last January. The snow was deep (so, so deep) and the snowstorm didn’t really let up all day. If you’re looking for winter wedding photos, this is an easy, one-stop shop. I know Shayla had been hoping for snow, and she had prepared, with full winter boots and a determination to go wherever we thought would look awesome - and i’m super pumped with how it turned out. Their wedding was beautiful, unique, and filled with great moments. I distinctly remember watching Johnny dancing with his son toward the end of the night, big smile on his face, and thinking “this is awesome, what a great memory”. It’s times like this, where joy is so apparent, that I love my job. I’m pumped to share these incredible winter wedding photos with you, and hope you love them.

Ryan & Sarah are some pretty amazing people. From how they met (Ryan bought her coffee for her, then they talked for hours) to the song they walked into are all so unique. They are kind and thoughtful, and I loved how their friends and family all interacted. The whole day was beautiful - and it wasn't just the sunset. They danced the night away (but seriously, so much great dancing) and it was one of those weddings I found myself sitting back and thinking “wow, what a great group of people”. You don’t need to look any further than their engaging smiles, and love for each other. I’m glad I can be the one to share these photos with you. They were so much fun to take, and relive.

Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photos: Jeremiah and Kendra's Downtown CDA Engagement

Jeremiah and Kendra worked together. That's not how they met, but they worked together. In fact - and this is a little bit of a side note - they talk so little at work even now that it took some of their coworkers months to realize they even knew each other. But that isn't relevant here. What does matter, is that after work one day Jeremiah and Kendra met up with some friends from work to get some drinks. This is how they met.

One week after photographing a wedding at the Spokane Club I had the privilege of going back for another one. Kevin & Lauren’s wedding day was beautiful, the sun was out, the colors were vibrant, and while it was actually very cold, it didn’t look like it. Kevin & Lauren’s wedding was amazing, with such great energy, tons of dancing, and one flower girl that I will probably never forget. I hope these photos are something you love, because I loved taking them.
