Jacob and Melissa are two people whom i’ve really enjoyed getting to know. Melissa (a photographer in her own right) has such a great joy for life - so quick to smile, so easy to talk with. Jacob matches her in this way, with a ready smile and easy manner. And truthfully, how could they not be that way when trying to plan a wedding in the middle of a pandemic? Where your venue says “you can’t do it here” and many guests can no longer make it? Jacob and Melissa, and their incredible families, are some amazing people. I loved getting to know them - watching them joke, and dance, and love. I’m excited to share this wedding with you, Jacob and Melissa’s wedding.

Read MoreA couple years ago I had the huge privilege of photographing Nick and Caitlin’s wedding. It was beautiful, unique, and with some incredible people. I loved every minute of it. Nick and Caitlin specifically are two people I highly enjoy, and so when they emailed me because their family (which I got to see from the very beginning) was growing to become a family of three I was SO excited for them. Now, these two don’t live in my area, but I was huge honored that they would still ask me to capture this moment in their lives - the moment two become three. My time with these two, photographing their maternity photos, was so much fun - with our lively talks - and i’m looking forward to the next time I get to see them. Huge congratulations to the now growing Odeh family.
Read MoreThere is something really great about Alex and Kayla. It isn’t just their story, or their friends, or how they treat each other - all of those things are already incredible. No, I think the thing that stood out to me the most was how they treated each other. They are kind, patient, and understanding towards one another. You don’t have to look further than how Kayla holds on to Alex, or the way Alex looks at Kayla with such kindness. These are two amazing people.

The two little ones were so kind and eager to help - even with their own ideas of what they wanted in the photos. The adults were kind and engaging, and I had a lot of fun getting to know all of them. Truly a beautiful family that has grown into multiple families.
Read MoreThey both met on their first day at the Mayo Clinic. They were the oldest of the new group at the clinic, and immediately got along. Casey told me that Christina caught his eye from day one, and his interest was piqued. Luck would have it (for him, kind of) that both his AND Christina's new name tags were messed up, so they had* to walk together to go get them fixed. This was their first conversation. Small talk would ensue, but being that they were both older than the others, and both with the same level of education, they had a lot in common. Casey's biggest problem? Christina had a boyfriend.
