Dylan and Sam met at a super bowl party. It was the one a couple years ago when the Patriots went down to the Falcons some 27-3 at halftime, then came back to win it in the second half. The one that saw half a house talking mad trash followed by complete silence the second half as they ate their own words - yeah that one. Anyway, Sam remembers it because Dylan walked in rocking a bunch of Pats stuff, and he was the only one. Dylan noticed her too, she was beautiful and super easy to talk to - they felt like old friends right away. She would make fun of him (the Pats were losing after all) and he would go along with the jokes and bring back some of his own.
Read MoreI only had the chance to spend a little bit of time with this amazing family. Not only are they beautiful, but we got an incredible day as well. I would say these photos look deceptive to how cold it actually was, but the day was beautiful, and I loved visiting with them. Family photos are always something I really enjoy photographing and the Davis Family helped remind me why.
Read MoreOne of the coolest things about being a wedding photographer is that so often you get to be there when it all starts. Doing engagement photos you get to hear the couples story - how they met - and the journey that led them to say “I want you and no other”. Then you get to be there for that commitment, that wedding, the joy and family. But then, a couple years later you see on social that that incredible couple is expecting a child, and it’s so great to see that family grow. Then, if i’m really lucky, I get to photograph that family as it grows. Kevin and Alex are this family. Being able to be there for their engagement photos, wedding, and now their growing family has been an incredible honor for me, and it’s always so great every time I get to see them.
Read MoreI still remember the first time I met Pierre and Molly. Pierre was wearing a Gonzaga hat, and we had both just got done watching the Zags play in the tournament. I remember his infectious smile, energy, and excitement. That conversation was a lot of fun with them, from the laughs we shared, to the conversation we had, I was excited to be there on their wedding day - I was excited they chose me. In their case they had some pretty unique situations happen, not just 2020, but they had planned on having their ceremony up in Canada, so it meant I wasn’t going to be able to be there for that. What I did get to do was be there for their reception in Coeur d’Alene, where Molly was from, and capture them enjoying their wedding reception with all their friends and family. What an incredible day we had. From great weather, to incredible people, I absolutely loved meting their friends and family, and i’m so excited to be able to share some of the photos I captured on that day. I hope you guys love them, I know I enjoyed taking them.

From their engagement photos, to their wedding, to meeting their friends and family, they have shown themselves to be awesome people. I am so excited to share some of the photos from their wedding in Sandpoint Idaho, at Talus Rock, and the many moments and memories that came form it.
Read MoreSeveral years ago I had the chance to meet Dylan and Kate when I photographed their engagement shoot. They were a couple that just seemed to comfortable in front of the camera and with each other, and their photos were beautiful. Fast forward a bit and some of their plans changed and they had decided to get married out here, so I had the chance to photograph their beautiful wedding at the Historic Davenport Hotel. So a couple years later when I got an email from them asking me to capture their beautiful family of three I was so excited. These two have always been so great, so kind, and their little one was all smiles when he experienced his first snowfall. It was so great to see these two, and i’m so happy for them. I love seeing family’s grow.
