Rob and Christina are a pretty amazing couple. They are so kind, and considerate, and we had so much fun getting to know them and spending time with them throughout the day. Even when it looked like it was about to rain (or in some cases, did rain) spirits were always high. Even their idea of heading over to the Davenport to get some more variety in photos was awesome (I mean, you’ll know when you see them… they are awesome). Anyway, i’ve known the Enders family for years, so being able to capture one of their sons, and just be there to get some great photos was a huge privilege for me. I hope you love them!
Read MoreThey met in grad school. It wasn't like the movies, where Kalsey walked into class and the only empty seat was next to this 6'3" man. No, Kalsey sat with her 5 other girlfriends, and Kevin was - somewhere.
Read MoreJack and Lauren are awesome. They aren’t afraid to goof around, have fun, but also love those little moments. Between getting to know them during their engagement photos, to being there to capture all the little and amazing things that happened with them while they got ready to say “i’ll love you today, tomorrow, and for the rest of time.” The simple thing is, these two are kind people. Not just towards each other, but to those around them. You see it in how they talk with each other, how they treat their friends, and how their friends treat each other. Their CDA resort wedding was beautiful and unique, and i’m so excited that I can be the one to share the photos with you.
Read MoreI had a great time with Cormac and Whitney. There’s something about how they interact, how they look at each other that is so magnetic. Whitney’s smile says it all, the way she looks at him, holds on to him, fits with him. Two people who have found each other in this world, who have grown in relationship to where they want to say “I want to be with you, and no other”. It’s a beautiful thing, the commitment, the desire, the love. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to capture their engagement.
Read More20 years ago I met Tony. He was kind, thoughtful, loved sports and was always positive. He worked hard and always had pride in his family and what they did. It wouldn't be uncommon to hear about what his Dad was doing, or what they had started to do. We played basketball together. Then life happened. Tony did his thing, I did mine, and while I never once though of him as not my friend, we were both working on this thing called "life" that seemed so complicated back then, but we never really knew what that meant. Fast forward roughly 19 years I get a call from my friend Tony (yes, I still had his number in my phone). Turns out, he was getting married to an incredible and beautiful woman named Stephanie.
Read MoreI’ve had the privilege of knowing the Kacelek family for several years now (even more if you count how I know Heidi, whom I went to school with back in high school). They are so kind and quick to laugh. So taking some family photos for them this fall was a huge privilege, and i’m so excited that I get to share them with you now.
