There is something amazing about a father’s love for his daughter. So when I had the chance to take some photos of Alex with his (incredibly cute) daughter, Avery, I was pumped. Nothing can beat that amazing smile she has, or the love that is so evident from him when he looks at her. What a blessing they are, not just to each other, but to me and my family.

It was several years ago so the exact conversation isn't something that is remembered, but we do know Jared made contact first with some sort of cleaver quip. Kelly said something that stood out to her first was how funny he was, he made her laugh. Jared's first impression of her was how great looking she was, and thus, it drove him to look closer at her profile. She liked to eat frozen peaches - yeah. Anyway, so he messaged her, and they started to talk.
Read MoreTyson and Chandler are two amazing people, something I learned early in 2020 when we had the chance to do their engagement photos. At the time, the idea that something like COVID would be a problem “all the way in December” seemed crazy. So the plan was on. A couple months later however, I got a call from Chandler, they were moving the wedding to 2021 - as so many brides decided to do. So we rescheduled, things moved, and it was going to be another year until I got to see these two wonderful people again.
Read MoreThe first time they met Robbie was Caitlyn's EMT instructor (if I remember that right… he was an instructor of something). Anyway, Caitlybn said she never really thought of him "that way" and Robbie was in the same boat. They were just teacher/student. That said, Caitlyn would move away, and there would be no relationship there. When she moved back though they ended up being in a similar work group, and Robbie was no longer the "much older teacher" but rather the "slightly older funny guy" that was "quite cute". Even though they would spend more time together, it wasn't until they both volunteered to help at an event that they started to notice each other.

So when Ashley contacted me to tell me they were pregnant and wanted maternity photos I was so pumped! I’ve always enjoyed talking with them, whether on the side of a mountain or at their wedding, we’ve had a great time. Ashley is absolutely gorgeous with her pregnant glow, and i’m so excited that these two are starting a family.
