Colton and Madison have been pretty amazing since the first time I met them. They are kind, thoughtful, and quick to laugh. I loved doing their engagement photos, and so when the wedding day rolled around at the beautiful Settlers Creek, I was super excited. It’s always fun to do a wedding with some genuinely awesome people, and so this day was one I was really looking forward to. And i’ll tell you - it didn’t disappoint. So many great moments, great laughs, great people that I couldn’t get this wedding blog shorter without feeling ike I was leaving something amazing out. Hope you love each and every photo!
Read MoreDan and Cameran have known each other for a long time. They went to junior high together. They went to high school together. But they never talked. It was one of those things where they knew each other existed, but they weren't really friends. This all changed after high school. Dan would leave into the military but when he would come back home to visit, there was this cute girl hanging with all of his friends. So of course, he would talk to her.
Read MoreZach and Rachel are an amazing couple. They are kind and thoughtful, and I absolutely loved meeting their friends and family at their wedding. Their wedding at the Ridge at Greenbluff was beautiful, and had so many great moments. I hope you love them.
Read MoreThey met at work. Kyan told me that when he first met Beth she was "really annoying" which I thought was hilarious. He said it didn't take long though (a couple of shifts) to realize that Beth wasn't "trying really hard" but rather she was "just that funny". A friendship would blossom. Beth, for her part, really liked Kyan from the very beginning. He was "cute" and "a really good guy". And while their friendship began to grow, Kyan and no clue that the feelings weren't matched on either side.
Read MoreSometimes things align in the right way, and bring two people together who would never have met otherwise. For Stephon and Maria, this is how I think of their story. Maria, visiting Hawaii on vacation from her staying Australia, was out looking to get some drinks with her friend. They picked a bar. The same bar that Stephon and his air force friends had also picked (they were there for a little while from where they were stationed in Japan). Two people, from two totally different parts of the world, end up going to the same bar.
Read MoreI had the privilege of photographing Scott and Maria’s wedding at the Historic Davenport a couple years ago. It was beautiful, classy, and so fun. So when Maria contacted me earlier this year to tell me they were coming back into town and they wanted to get family photos, I was pumped to see them and their extended family again. They were so fun, easy to laugh with and talk to, and this family shoot proved to be no different. I hope you love these photos as much as I loved taking them.
