Family Photographer: Johnson Family's New Addition!

Earlier this year I had the chance to meet the Johnson Family when I did their maternity photo shoot. Gage and Taylor were so excited, and their family was about to grow from two, to three. Fast forward several months and I had the incredible privilege of getting to meet that young man, in the rain and cold of fall. And boy did it rain! Either way, it was so great seeing these guys again and having the chance to capture them with their little one. What a beautiful family.

Engagement Photos in North Idaho: Robert & Nicole

Robert and Nicole met in high school. They even had a couple classes together. Now what often happens when I hear stories of couples that met in high school, either that couple dated, were good friends or somewhere in between. In this case, they never talked. They existed in the same space, but they both were "socially awkward" is the way I think they put it to me.

Wedding at the Chateau Rive: Chris & Kelsey Get Married!

Chris and Kelsey had quite the journey to their August 14 wedding. From what I understand, they had to reschedule some four or five times, only finding me on that fifth time, slowly moving out of 2020 to 2021. What a blessing it was for me that they would end up booking me. These two are so kind, not just to each other, but to those around them. They are so quick to laugh (look no further than the photos below) and we had so much fun getting to know each of the bridal party. Their wedding featured several things that don’t normally happen, such as a ceremony inside the Chateau Rive (a leftover idea from when their ceremony was going to be in the winter), and I am so happy that I got to be a part of their beautiful day. I hope these pictures, and all the love they represent, are at least partly sufficient in showing of such a beautiful day. Big thanks to Jaime Johnson Events for being such a great wedding planner.

Spokane Family Photographer: The Womack Family

I only just met this amazing family the day I had the chance to take some photos of them in Manito Park, downtown Spokane. What an incredible little family. I loved seeing them laugh and smile, and just be themselves. Now I have the chance to share these moments with you, and I hope you love them!

Coeur d'Alene Resort Wedding: Andy & Malissa

Andy and Malissa are an amazing couple. In this case, it was an interesting experience for me because I first met them in 2019 for their engagement photos. I met their family, and we had a great time. Then 2020 happened, and I ended up not seeing them for almost two years. But those amazing smiles, friendly kind attitudes and all that is amazing about these two remained the same - the biggest difference being how old their kids were. What a beautiful wedding we had at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, and even with the smoke, we managed to make something i’m very happy with. What an incredible day, location, and couple.

Kootenai Falls Engagement: Tyler & Kassandra

They met at the gym. Tyler is a trainer (an excellent one at that) and if I remember right she had joined his gym and he was giving some instruction. He had asked for someone to be an example, and no one volunteered - except Kassandra. This was how they met, but it took time for them to grow a friendship - always at the gym. They would talk together, joke around, often stretching or doing certain things around the same time. They became friends. Over the course of time, each one of them would get out of their respective relationships and one day Kassandra was lamenting about wanting to go on a hike, and Tyler said "well, let's go" So they did.
